I cannot believe- yes, I believe you about Katy, but how could she? Do those people EVER listened to what comes out of their mouths? It is like snakes and slithering evil creatures pouring out. Horrible.

That being said, thank GOD, and I mean this with all my heart, that I have FReepers. AGain JimRob, you provide such an important venue. CarolinaMom, you are so great for donating blood. I cannot do it (tried last summer and was asked NOT to come back - low blood pressure) but if I could I'd donate a gallon.

I am so grateful that GW is our president and that he has Cheney, Rice, and Rumsfeld to help guide him through this terrible time for our country...I live in NYC...the ash from the WTC began to fall outside my classroom window around 11:30 AM...we had the TV on in the office...many of the staff were walking around with tears streaming down their faces...we couldn't tell our junior high school kids what had happened because we didn't know if any of their parents worked in the WTC...it's been a crazy day all around...but I am sure of one thing...this was an act of evil and we need a good man as our leader now...GW may not have the verbal skills to dazzle the masses but when he feels something deeply he can communicate his sincerity out over the airwaves...I look forward to hearing his speech tonight...meanwhile like most Americans I am outraged and want blood to flow...I am also mourning the loss of life...innocent civilians whose lives were lost today...families devastated... our beautiful complex of buildings lost...an act of pure evil...the poor Israelis have been putting up with this shit for years...I can still see the smoke rising from my window sitting here in Brooklyn...the streets are crowded with people moving in silent streams as they walk home from their jobs...I've even seen quite a few people with their children wearing face masks...a somber day...we Americans for the most part are good people and we did not deserve this...if the suicide bombers thought they were on their way to paradise when they drove the planes into the buildings I hope to God that they are now facing eternal damnation...every time I look up into the sky toward Manhattan I expect to see the face of Satan.

Pray for GW and our country...we will only survive as a people if we turn to God.
