Fox News just stated that the US Emergency Response plan has been put into effect. The Justice Deartment is in control. FEMA is fulfilling it's directive.
Last fall Reno's Jusice Dept was given to billing. Now it's a reality. Ashcroft now has power we can only guess at.
You can bet your a__ there's more to follow...

FEMA and Justice have enormous, previously untapped power.
Took about 2-3 hrs. longer than I'd anticipated. Acclimation has begun. We'll all be safe now. Papers Please.

If you had been paying attention over the last few years, you would know that FEMA is now "in the loop" with command and control of our defense forces. How that process operates most of us can only guess at. With the Justice Department over FEMA, I have never felt comfortable with the prospect of this. Now it is in action. If you don't understand any reason to be concerned about this, please, by all means feel free to detest me as you see fit.
FEMA's original mandate was solely disaster relief. As such I still support that wing of it's executable power. However that is all that I support in relation to FEMA. With Clinton appointess like James Lee Witt and Buddy Young at FEMA, both Clinton buds, I have no faith in FEMA whatsoever. Witt may have been replaced by now. I do not know.
