I assume you'll post any confirming details that you hear.

Ollie North on FOX now. Says this is "much worse than Pearl". Keep us abreast of the unconfirmed report.

Could be. I heard earlier that there were two international flights that were not unaccounted for. Pray I'm wrong

I haven't got a SAR call here on the Eastern end of LI Sound. Do you have an approximate location.

I'll report what I hear. Remember though, any fool could call in a hoax (god I would hope not). The call went out on the scanner and I assume CG boats will try to verify. I am trying to enter codes for any other emergency channels I can monitor...

Hey Dales. Some light chatter (all of it unconfirmed, mind you) is going on over at another forum. Some are saying that there's isolated rioting already in NYC/NJ. Hopefully these reports are untrue. Americans need to stick together, not pillage like a bunch of savages.
Regards,
Callahan

This is a bit ridiculous. I'm only thinking outloud here.
I bet today's events wouldn't have happened if the passengers on those planes had been allowed to carry a concealed weapon.

Rioting savages in NY and NJ may not be such a bad thing. Maybe the idea of concealed-carry laws standing a chance of getting passed in those two states isn't so preposterous after all.
I'm serious, too.
To: Inspector Harry Callahan
I'm sure theree will be some level of rioting in NYC. There are a lot of people in this country with no fear of God and no love of country. They look at incidinces like this as nothing more than an opportunity to get more stuff for their pathetic selves.
Most Americans will stick together, though.

Coast Guard just re-broadcast the advisory on 156.800Mhz. at 2:13PM. "unconfirmed report of plane down in LI sound, unknown plane type, unknown location" and is asking all boats in the area to help in search.
To: Inspector Harry Callahan
I am on board predicting very little rioting or looting in NY.
NY is not LA.
To: freeper12
...3rd advisory to all boats at 2:23PM of possible plane down in LI sound.
To: freeper12
Thanks for the update.

What is your approximate location. I have still not monitored a PAN-PAN or SECURITAY on this. Are you near NYC or western CT.
Stay well - Yorktown
