Fly your American Flag... show solidarity

I have just gotten my American Flag out to show the people who have attacked us that they cannot kill our spirit or our national resolve.
I am also going to go buy a black streamer or ribbon of some kind to fly with the flag to show our mourning for the thousands of innocent dead.
Please, if you have a flag, fly one. If you don't, buy one and get it up as soon as possible. Put a black streamer to show our grief... but fly the flag to show our strength as a free people!
Then go and donate some blood... it will be needed.

Get moving... we can do little in most of the country to help... but we can show them our thoughts and resolve are with the people of Washington and New York by flying our flags!

Very good idea. A day never goes by that my flag is not proudly flying - and when I get a chance to go out later I will purchase a black ribbon.

Our Ronald Reagan American flag (a gift from him 20 years ago) is proudly still waving in the face of this cowardly attack. I just wish I had a "Don't Tread On Me" flag to fly with it. We may fight and disagree among each other, but nothing pulls this country together like an attack from outside.

Mine went up moments after the Pentagon was attacked. Following mine, flags were raised up and down my street.

That was one of the first things I did this morning after hearing the news. I had no cover on so I did not salute, but I haven't ever had the flag bring a tear to my eye like that before.
