Fox now confirming that the plane was headed for Camp David. Also noted the symbolism, from the cowards who did this, who chose to hijack planes bearing our flag and the words "AMERICAN" and "UNITED".

Really? I just heard it on Fox about 10 or 15 min ago. Also the President is NOT at Barksdale AFB. He dropped a tape off and left for parts unknown. They are right now saying it again, Camp David was the target.

It's known that American Airlines Flights 11 (Boeing 767) and 77 (757) crashed into the WTC. Now, United Flights 93 (a 757) crashed into Pennsylvania and 175 (a 767) is still missing. One of these hit the Pentagon which in all likelihood is AA Flight 175. Apparently, by the pattern, one could assume that the 757 that crashed was headed towards someplace in the DC area. The thought being simultaneous strikes at a country's concentration of money (New York) and the concentration of military (DC) the terrorists could make a statement while simultaneously bring the US to its knees. Whew! Some real planning, organizing, directing and coordinating occurred over a long period of time.

Fox quoted "Intelligence sources" on this one. The CBS report was that Camp David *was* hit, it wasn't so Fox's correction was good.

–United Airlines Flight 93: A Boeing 757, crashed southeast of Pittsburgh while en route from Newark, N.J. to San Francisco. The plane was carrying 38 passengers, two pilots and five flight attendants.

–United Airlines Flight 175: A Boeing 767. The flight was bound from Boston to Los Angeles. It was carrying 56 passengers, two pilots and seven flight attendants. The airline would not say where the plane crashed

What the hell are our intelligence agencies doing?

We don't know enough to fault the intelligence folks yet.

Despite news claims that such an operation requires massive organization and state sponsorship, all you really need is the ability to circumvent airport security, and a total of 8 or 12 suicide terrorists, 4 or whom are pilots. You don't need to make bombs -- the planes are the bombs. The organization may not have generated electronic information to analyze.

cowards? i'll never understand how unpopular, violent acts are automatically labelled cowardly. agree with the actions or not, one could hardly be a coward and pull off such a precise and difficult task. that's nonsense talk. i suppose the united states is being 'brave' when it hurls missiles somewhere? please. the chest pounders need to retire to a back room, or they'll just make this situation worse. the relevant question, which apparently nobody wants to discuss, is, "why are these people so angry, and did the united states play a role in creating that situation?" the answers aren't difficult to discern if one looks at our actions objectively.

Could be because Camp David, Ft. Ritchie, Ft. Deitrick, and the underground White House are all within a 30 minute radius between Thurmont and Frederick, MD. Any of those four sites could have been targeted. Plum terrorist area.
