Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You this day with raging emotions knowing that You and You alone are our help in this time of great trouble. Our hearts are breaking and other emotions such as anger, despair, fear, etc., are swirling around us to the point that we hardly know how to pray. Yet, You know our needs. You know all things and how to best act in this situation. So, Father, I ask for Your hand to be upon America right now, to guide her and to comfort her during this dark dark time.

Father, I pray for President Bush and the government as they take steps to address this murderous action by terrorists. The anger within us would like to see the most extreme penalties thrown at those who perpetrated this trajedy, and those who celebrate because of it. But, Lord, I ask that You would move in President Bush's life right now and give him the wisdom he needs to know how to address this situation. Lord, make him cunning in dealing with his enemies and silence those who would seek to gain politically from this situation. Let the very words that they speak be turned against them for they do not deserve to be our leaders who think only of themselves at such a time as this. Lord, help us to find out exactly who did this and bring them to swift and strong judgment, lest more life be lost from these monsters. Protect President Bush Lord with legions of Your holy angels and keep him and this nation from further harm. Help the families of those who lost their lives Lord and be with them to comfort them. For You are Lord God Almighty and there is none like You in all the earth. HELP US LORD,and use this situation to turn the hearts of Americans back towards You, is my prayer and I pray it in the incomparable name of Christ Jesus my Lord, who is sovereign over all, Amen.

Psalm 91 Confession

1. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High so I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

3. Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

4. He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I shall take refuge; His truth shall be my shield and buckler.

5. I shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me.

8. Only with my eyes shall I look, and see the reward of the wicked.

9. Because I have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, my habitation,

10. No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling;

11. For He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.

12. They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.

13. I shall tread upon the lion and the copa, the young lion and the serpent I shall trample under foot.

14. Because I have set my love upon Him, therefore He will deliver me; He will set me on high, because I have known His name.

15. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me; He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me and honor me.

16. With long life He will satisfy me, and show me His salvation. Heavenly Father, You are our Strength, You are our Protector, You are our refuge and fortress. You are our confidence, firm and strong. Father I have a heavy heart this morning and am saddened and enraged with anger the things that have happened to this nation today. Your hand of protection has been on this nation for so long and we have seen terror strike the innocent in this nation like no other day in our young history as a nation.

We know you are the Great Physician and I pray that you will help those who are treating and rescuing the innocent victims who were killed in this horrible tragedy. Give them strength and supernatural wisdom on treating the victims.

Heavenly Father, we know that terror has befallen on this nation but Your children put our trust in You. We want to intercede for the President this day. I know you have chosen him for "such a time as this" and I pray that You will give him wisdom this day. I pray that You will give him boldness this day to bring this nation together and to show his leadership this day. I pray that you will give wisdom to the military this day and that their plans to attack the perpetrators will be precise and perfect. I pray that we will bring the terrorists who have killed the innocent will come to justice very quickly.

Even though it is hard to see, I pray that good will come out of this horrible tragedy. I pray that there will be many who will come to trust You after this tragedy. We as a nation have had no fear of You because of the great financial times we have gone through. The financial symbol of this nation, the World Trade Center, and the military symbol of this nation, the Pentagon has been attacked. This has brought much fear into people who have not had any fear in the past. We can no longer trust in the things we have but we can only trust You. I pray that Your children will be the salt and light for these lost people who are empty without you. Give Your Church strength during this time to minister to those who are hurt and unsure. Thank you for your salvation and we who know You can rest in You. In Jesus Christ' Name, Amen.

Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs, show Yourself to America this day. Lift up Yourself, judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud. Lord, how long shall the wicked triumph? How long shall they utter and speak hard things, and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? They break in pieces Your people, O Lord, and they afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. We plead for Your mercy upon this nation, Great God of all the earth lest our enemies would swallow us up. Our hearts are heavy with grief over the deaths and maiming of American citizens. Father, cover Your children with a blanket of Your healing. Comfort the families of the lost. For You, O Lord, will not cast off Your people; neither will You forsake Your inheritance.

Protect our President, Great God. Now more than ever, he needs Your wisdom to know how to respond to these brutal acts of inhuman behavior which have been orchestrated by the devil's hand. Please give him the words to speak as he addresses this shocked and horrified nation. Let him not fear for the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day; nor for pestilence that stalks in darkness; nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. You will give Your angels charge over him to keep him in all his ways. Let them bear him up in their hands, lest he dash his foot against a stone. You will help him in this time of need, Lord. When he calls upon You, You have promised to answer him. You will be with him in trouble. You will deliver him and honor

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be above all the earth. We need You, Father. Hear our cries and deliver us, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Psalms 46:1 God [is] our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; [Though] its waters roar [and] be troubled, [Though] the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah [There is] a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy [place] of the tabernacle of the Most High. God [is] in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts [is] with us; The God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I [am] God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts [is] with us; The God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Praying fervently and without ceasing.

Heavenly Father, help us! Be with the families of those who have lost loved ones on this tragic day; be with the injured; bless the rescue workers and medical personnel who are responding.

And, Father, be with President Bush. Keep him safe and endow him with Your wisdom so that he acts according to Your will.

God bless America!!! Amen!

Amen and amen. May God be praised as He comforts us in this tragedy. I have been unable to make a net connection most of the day. But, I have a constant connection to my God and have spent the day in the garden of prayer. He will sustain us. I pray that America will turn to Him and unite as one.

Heavenly Father, you are the Lord and there is no other, you are the only God. You form the light and create darkness, you bring prosperity and create disaster. You sit on the Throne, You have control over all things, nothing happens without Your knowledge. (Isaiah 45:5-7)

People who do not understand your laws and your ways have intended to harm our nation, harm your church, harm our spirits. But we know, Lord, that the enemy has instead united us as Christians and united us as Americans through this senseless, despicable act of barbarism and persecution. And we know that You will use for good what Satan has intended for harm. (Genesis 50:20-21).

We pray, Lord, that many who find themselves afraid, overwhelmed, grieved, alone, or injured will be drawn to seek your face. We pray that you would use this situation to pour Your Spirit out upon people affected by the tragedy and show them Your face.

We pray, Lord, that you would equip the Church and all believers for the ministry that we may be called to do; empower us with a powerful witness when we are called upon to speak about or reflect upon the situation; give us words as we are called upon to comfort those around us. We especially pray for our spiritual and political leaders who are believers, and for believers in the media, that You will give them words of wisdom, easily articulated.

We ask you, Lord, to stand against the enemy with the families who have lost loved ones ,families who have missing loved ones, families who have loved ones in physical and emotional pain.

We pray, Lord, that You would give our public officials perspective, focus, physical strength, wisdom, and a realization for the need of ,and importance of, prayer.

We pray, Lord, for the perfect love that drives out fear, for all Americans.(1 John 4:18)

We thank you, Lord, for protecting our President, his wife, and all the Cabinet members. We thank you, Lord, that all our Senators and Representatives are safe. We pray that you would equip them with Your Divine wisdom and that they would be focused on the task of protecting America.

We thank you for giving us as President a man who knows you and calls upon you. We know that nothing happens by accident because You are on the Throne, and we know that it is no accident that George W. Bush is our President at this time. For this, Lord, we are grateful because he understands his place in Your order, he understands the finiteness of his wisdom and his need for You, he understands his responsibility and knows it was bestowed upon him by You. We pray for You to be with him as never before, constantly at his side protecting him, constantly strengthening his body, constantly guiding his mind, constantly guarding his heart.

We pray for ourselves, also, Lord, as we are called to minister in and through our Churches, workplaces, homes. We pray for our children, that You would give us words to explain, and that you would comfort them. We pray for national repentance, Lord, and a ferocious turning of hearts toward you.

Finally, Lord, we remember Your promise of Psalm 50:15--"Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."

So be it, Lord, in Your Son's Precious Name, Amen.

Lord, we come to you, on this day of great tragedy. Lord, we acknowledge that we often do not undertstand the WHY, but we know that You did not CAUSE this, You alone are in control, and we humble ourselves before you, and ask for wisdom and direction for President George W. Bush. Thank you for a president who is not afraid to call upon you for wisdom and direction, as he directs our nation to do the same.

It's in You Holy name we pray. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray that you protect these United States and our people abroad. Protect Israel. Protect FDNY, NYPD, and all those involved in the rescue. Lord I pray that by your hand you would keep them from harm. Protect those at the Pentagon and speed their rescue. Protect the United States Military. Protect your servants being held captive in Afganistan. Let this nation realize that the fate of those servants in Afganistan is the will of Islam for the whole United States, Israel, and ALL non-moslems. Father, I pray you give G.W. and his counselors wisdom and that they would follow your leading. Father strengthen this great nation of yours' and let the people turn to you.

In Jesus Christ precious name.
