Please, all Americans who are able, go to your nearest blood collection center and donate a pint of blood. There will be thousands of casualties who will need our help, and if this is all we can do, at least we are sharing our life's blood with our countrymen.

NY Times says this morning that there is adequate blood supplies available now. I think more may be needed in the weeks and months ahead.
