As I recall, FR was up all day. I was checking in, as it was (and remains) the best place to sort through breaking news accounts, and don’t recall any major disruptions. Admittedly, the day was something of a blur, calling my parents and sister-in-law to see if they’d heard anything about my brother.

They were trying to decide if we should send the students home early. I suggested that we really didn't want these kids sitting home watching this alone if there parents were at work.
I went back to my room and the announcement was made over the PA system.
When they finished I asked if there were any questions. One girl named Tonya (about 16 years old) asked "When do you think we will get hit?"
I told here that we were not a primary target or near any and that we were probably safe.
She asked if it was okay to pray, I told her that it was always okay.
