Thought this got posted quite a while ago ..... just discovered it didn't go through ..... will try again.

Daughter home safely ..... they finally totally evacuated her building ..... even essential personnel. Phone system in the DC area is chaotic to non-functional. She finally got through to us by calling collect.

Son reports that Oak Ridge has been evacuated. He works within sight of the vulnerable facilities there and is probably going home shortly ...... to Knoxville, which should be safe.

I am just distraught over the monstrosity and the scope of this. Words fail!

President just spoke. Taped from Shreveport, but no one knows where he is now. He said the US is being tested, and make no mistake, we will pass the test. We will hunt down and punish those responsible.
