A BOSS who taunted a woman employee with a 12-inch wooden willy was jailed for seven months yesterday. Furniture firm owner Paul Doney, 57, also made sales manager Maxine Brooks work 12-hour days and often paid her late.
He was ordered to pay her £31,500 by a tribunal after she won a sex discrimination case in 1997.
But Doney, of Barton-on-Sea, Hants, then liquidated his firm to avoid coughing up — and relaunched it under a new name.
He was caged at Southampton Crown Court after admitting fraudulently trying to avoid making the payment. Maxine, 59, said: "I'm delighted it's finally over."

This is a rarity: A sexual harassment case that seems to have merit. It sounds like the woman was obviously being harassed and that her boss was a total sleeze. What impressed me was the rather modest sum of money involved...we could learn something from this.
