Here's the full story. For the record, I am AMAZED that Bush's approval ratings are this high, given all that's happened to him and given the media onslaught against him. If things turn good, his approval rating is going to be 70%.

Only Liberals believe in or act based on polls IMHO. If I have to look at a poll, I always add the 'margin of error' to the conservative side because I think it is reasonable to believe the totals are already quite skewed.

I love how the Post just sort of, kind of finds a way to NOT make this the title. Instead, they have "Poll: Public Wary on Tax Cut". This is dishonest and vile beyond words.

If the economy were growing like gang-busters, the Washington Post headline would read:

Economists fear Inflation panic looming -- Bush to blame

Troubling New Poll has President's approval rating dropping to 68% from a high of 70%

Wow. ABC, NBC, CBS makes the Bush presidency sound like the world is comming top an end.
I heard one of the democrat senators say the ecomony is Bushs' fault, so Bush is responsible for fixing it ???

We're still using the Clinton budget. Bushs' budget doesn't start until October!
The recession started in the packaging industry in late 1998. When the box makers start to get laid off, it means shipping is going down. Without shipping, there's no sales.
Bush campaigned on the "comming recession," and I think the democrats are trying hard not to mention that fact.
