A couple arrested after allowing a stripper to dance naked at a party for Horace Greeley High School students is now under investigation by Child Protective Services for letting their 17-year-old son watch the woman's performance.
It ain't pretty (or maybe it was, I wasn't there :-) ), but if the kid could get married w/ his parents' permission, the State shouldn't care if he sees a stripper w/ his parents' permission.

Excellent point.

Have you ever seen those PMSNBC shows on spring break. This is the closest thing too safe sex those boys have ever seen.

the State shouldn't care if he sees a stripper w/ his parents' permission. Your point may have some validity that I would not support in any event. Laws prohibit this kind of activity even if the parents approved of it. However, this case involved about 50 other kids some as young as 15. Some of their parents DID NOT give them permission to see a stripper, smoke pot and get drunk.

Gee, I guess they have to go to all the other parents of the kids who attended this X-rated party and get their permission as well? I don't think so. They should throw the book at the Weiss's and give them a taste of the real world outside Chappaqua.

Or.....
What is the age of consent in that state? Adult woman and 17yr old boy? Sounds ok to me...
(I know it did at the time too.. :) )
So he could legally have sex with her, but couldn't lick her? Or watch her naked? On private property, and under parental supervision?
hmmm.... The inmates are in charge now.

Good point, and another - if public schools can instruct kids on all kinds of sexual behavior without a parent's permission and/or knowledge, why should the state care about a stripper with parental consent?
Oh, it was heterosexual behavior with the stripper, wasn't it? My bad.
