Michael Jordan confirmed with a quote today to AP and other press members in 10 days he will make it official saying "I'm doing it for the love of the game. Nothing else. For the love the game.'' That he is returning this coming season to the NBA.

So the clock ticks...10 days until the world becomes Michael's again in the NBA. Just when I thought it moved on. Well we will see what the Lakers are all about for real now huh? :)

Um, actually he's doing it because the Washington Wizards are still a lousy team, even after he took it over. Time to make sure his legacy is that of a winning player instead of a lousy manager.

He's is stupid to come back.... he is too old now...

I'd bet he will be an excellent player by mid-season, maybe even in the top ten, barring injury. But he won't be what he was 5 or 10 years ago.

My personal opinion is he belongs retired as a player. He chose to leave a few years ago on his terms. The leauge suffered to find a new way to bring people and excitement into it without him. So he comes back when they did. He left on a storybook note. Winning shot to win the title and retire. Now it will probably end up at the Meadowlands during a Nets game in the 2nd quarter and a broken knee or something.

A part of me wants to see him come back but I'll still find it hard to see him not in a Bulls uniform! I can't even imagine him playing with another team.

The Lakers will win it all again.......there is nobody in the NBA to contain O'Neil......by virtue of that, everything else for that team falls into place.

It's hard to remain a super-celebrity without a super-income. However, I wish him well. He is good for the game, and, as far as I know, scandal free.
