Border crosser is suspected in 4 killings in U.S.

September 8, 2001 TECATE -- When a Border Patrol agent tracked down four illegal border crossers in the hills east of here, he had no way of knowing that one of them was wanted in connection with four homicides in Southern California.
Luckily, a Border Patrol computer did.
The detainee, who initially gave his name as Salazar Diaz Magdaleno Flores, was revealed by a fingerprint scan to be Alfred Flores, 22.
Flores, whose nickname is "The Wizard," is wanted on suspicion of killing three teens in Rialto in March. He also was wanted in connection with a killing in the Los Angeles suburb of Maywood on Nov. 19, 2000.
He was arrested Thursday.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Flores gunned down Alexander Ayala, 17, Ricardo Torres, 16, and Jason Van Kleef, 18, all of Rialto, between March 19 and March 21.
Flores killed the youths because they refused to join his gang, said Sheriff's Department spokesman Chip Patterson. Flores had not been seen since.
Investigators believe Flores, recently featured on the television show "America's Most Wanted," went to Mexico, living in or near Rosarito Beach.
Flores apparently tried to re-enter the United States through the rugged hills near Tecate with three other men Thursday afternoon, but a Border Patrol agent spotted their tracks and followed them into the bushes where they were hiding, said Border Patrol spokesman Fernando Grijalva.
The other three detainees had no connection to Flores and were allowed to return to Mexico. Homicide detectives from San Bernardino County picked up Flores on Thursday night.

Your logic does not compute. One border crosser is a murderer does not mean all border crossers are murderers. Gary Condit is a jackass and a white person. That does not mean all white people are jackasses.

I've got a great idea -- any illegal alien who is charged with a crime should be tried before a military court and treated as a prisoner of war if found guilty. They are not criminals -- they are INVADERS, and should be treated as such.

To all those who say the Border Patrol doesn't do any good, I say nah-na-na-nah-na!!! They would do a lot more and patrol even more aggressively if Congress and El Presidente didn't tie their hands by putting them on X's and restricting them to within 20 miles of the border. We need them up here in the interior. We need them to raid our factories and farms and clean out our jails.
Way to go agents! Viva La Migra! Ooorah!!
