[history]
For more than 750 years, Oxford University has been a tranquil oasis of learning where students can study among cloistered courtyards or along the River Cherwell.
For one incoming graduate student, any hopes of a quiet life soon will be shattered.

I will ask this question again and see if anyone can truly answer it: How is chelsea aleady a graduate student? How did she get a degree from Stanford (while taking a semester off to campaign for mom)and be in graduate school at 21? Can anyone tell me how, even if she did some high school work equal to college credit? The little buck-toothed brat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me how, even if she did some high school work equal to college credit? It is not hard at all (well, okay, it's hard work, but my point is it's entirely possible) to get enough AP (Advanced Placement) credits in high school to wipe out an entire year of college courses, usually required liberal arts credits. You would then start as a sophomore. The biggest obstacle to achieving this (other than not having the smarts to pass the AP exams) is that only some high schools offer enough AP classes in the first place to make this possible. (When I was in high school, they only offered two courses. I took both tests, passed, and thus got credit for two liberal arts courses in college, but that's only 1/2 of one semester's worth.) Needless to say, Princess Chelsea's school offered AP courses out the wazzoo, I'm sure.
In fact, it's even possible to wipe out MORE than an entire year, if you pass enough of those tests. Between that, and taking extra classes during the school year and/or taking extra classes during summer semesters, one could graduate at 21 quite easily.
I'm sure Princess Chelsea was summarily granted A's in every class she ever took, as American royalty, and barely had to lift a pencil the entire time she was at Stanford. But the fact remains, graduating at 21 is quite common.

I wonder if Eileen Wellstone will pay her a visit and tell her what daddy did.

Seems to me we had stuff about Bill's liaisons and about Mena way before you lot did - thanks to the British press. Don't worry - they are going to shove a microscope up her bum and check for any microbes.

I agree with your opinion that it is common, however, I don't buy it with her. She missed a whole semester and missed tons of days traveling on our dime.

The little buck-toothed brat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Leave Chelsea alone. That's pathetic, to say that about her. She didn't "choose" to be a Clinton (despite what Derbyshire said).

And I expect the irreverant Brit press to publish the worst photos of her, not the best, as American media does. Merrie Olde England is in for a treat.

She's already shown signs of being a nasty little leftist - when she went to the impoverished African nation of Tanzania, she said, "Lots of young kids in America feel hopelessness and despair, like there is nothing to live for." One would think Tanzania would give a better perspective. Anyway, Tally ho!

As I say, tally ho! ;) If Chelsea so much as breaks wind in church it will be plastered all over the Sun.
Come to OUR country, will she - well we'll show HER a thing or two!

She also started out in Pre-Med, but couldn't hack it. She graduated with a differet major. Even IF she took every AP class known to mankind, in high school, there is absolutely NO possible LEGITIMATE way that she graduated, with honors, yet , last June. She spent less time in classes, than she did roaming all over the world , in the White House, and in hospital.
I hope that Oxford has more stringent standards.

In publishing news of the US, the Brit press has always been freer than the US press, since the time of Lincoln's war. We can thank British journalists for a lot of what we found out during Clinton's tenure.

Where is ENLAND?

"Care for a cigar? You won't have to inhale," was one of the possible answers, a reference to Bill Clinton's experimentation with marijuana during his Oxford days and his fondness for cigars. It's not a reference to his "fondness for cigars" but his use of one with Monica. Even the Washington Times helps Clinton cover up.

I agreed that she should be left alone when she was a child. But now she is grown, and an active participant in her parents' lies and deceptions. The hand holding in public, the photo ops standing beside her rapist pig of a father and phony mother...she voluntarily bought into the whole pile of crap. She had the chance to rebel against their evil, but chose instead to throw in with it to assure her own piece of the pie. Fair game.

Maybe the Bush twins can give her some pointers on living life in a fishbowl. They've experienced more of this in nine months than she did in eight years.

She isn't going to the classiest school in the world. The main attraction to Oxford is the molding of a socialist leader in the tradition of the Fabian Society. They did a good job with Bubba and he didn't even attend class! Just think what they can do with Chelsea if she attends classes.
