THE TOWER OF BABBLE IN DURBAN

When mankind wished to challenge G-d in His Heaven, they built a ziggurat (a
tower) which was to reach the skies. When G-d saw the arrogance of man, he
struck them in a way that caused each to babble in language the other could
not understand.
In Durban, the same kind of fools assembled to assault the Jews in a
psycho-babble that displayed for all to see, how little they have progressed
from the days Nimrod’s Tower of Babble.
I listened to NPR (National Public Radio) play a recording of Zulu’s (they
said) chanting anti-Israel slogans in Zulu, taught to them by Arafat’s raging
Palestinians. It is doubtful that the Zulus had ever seen a Jew but,
nevertheless, like others at the Durban Tower of Babble, did indeed join
Arafat’s foaming at-the-mouth rage at the Jewish people.
Durban’s Conference against Racism,.,... & Xenophobia, was to be a great
festival of far-reaching decisions where Racism, in all parts was to be given
a decent burial. Instead, it was Racism that prevailed. It was a Festival of
the bizarre as anti-Semitic literature and T-shirts were passed out. The
Durban babble was well-attended by those nations whose record on Racism has
proven endemic over uncountable centuries. The Arab nations under the
umbrella of Islam had conjured up language which would brand Zionism, the
Jewish national liberation movement, as Racist. Clearly, the Arab nations who
brought the practice of Racism to a high art form could easily craft language
accusing Israel of what Arabs do best.
United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, speaking for the U.N. which
seems to be the world seat of Racism, toadied to Yassir Arafat and the Arabs
by saying: "The Palestinians suffer from conquest, expulsion and
assassination without trial. Annan neglected to mention that this mixture of
migrant Arabs now called ‘Palestinians’ expelled themselves by joining the
bordering Arab nations in a War intended to complete the extermination of the
Jews left over from Hitler’s "Final Solution to the Jewish Question".
Annan also neglected to speak of the numerous assassinations of Jews by
Arafat’s Palestinians from Oslo through today. Israel’s patience ran out
after 8 years of Oslo restraint wherein almost 700 Jews have been
assassinated in drive-by shootings, bombs, car-bombs, sniper shootings,
rockets, mortars, etc. - all this since the signing of the Oslo Accords on
the White House Lawn September 13, 1993. These days a few Jews are killed
every day or two - unless a suicide bomber get through Israel’s security net
and then - the numbers assault the mind. Thousands of Jews have been wounded,
some maimed for life and too many children are newly orphaned.
The Arab nations rejected the Jewish State from her inception by the U.N. in
1947. Each of the Arab nations, themselves a product of partition of the
Ottoman Empire after WWI, made bombastic statements of how they would "Dance
in the Blood of the Jews", and how they would push all the Jews into the sea.
The so-called moderate Faisel Husseini himself said, a few days before he
died, that he favored a Palestinian State from the River (Jordan) to the Sea
(Mediterranean). Oh how they shouted and issued blood-curdling threats of how
they would re-capture the glory of Sala-din, the Kurdish warrior who drove
the Christian Crusaders out of Jerusalem in the 12th century. Once again they
would be warriors to strut in front of their women.
But, in the following six wars of what was supposed to be annihilation of the
Jewish people, they were ignominiously driven from the field by the
contemptible Jews who were supposed to be inferior to Muslims. They raged as
their twin pillars of Pride and Shame were torn from under their
proclamations of superiority. For them, it was a religious war which they
lost time and again.
So, they began to once more adopt the abomination of sacrificing their own
children who they used as expendable cannon fodder to gain world sympathy.
Strangely, the world they called to was primarily Christian. The hated the
Christians almost as much as they hated the Jews but, in this case, the
Christians would be useful. As a relevant aside, I cannot help but be
reminded of the Islamic Taliban who blew up the gigantic ancient statues of
Buddha because Buddhism did not meet their test of the only acceptable
religion of Mohammed and Allah.
I wondered, how long it would take the Arab nations under Islam to drive all
the Christians from Muslim lands and, similarly, blow up the statues of Jesus
hanging on a cross.
Strangely, despite the reality of the Arabs’ hatred for Christian Europe, the
nations of Europe responded to the Racist call to once again track the Jews,
as they did for Hitler.
Kofi Annan, continuing his speech that the Jews fell victim to anti-Semitism
in Europe during the Holocaust and this must be taken into consideration when
accusing them (the Jews) of Racism. I wonder if Kofi Annan took into
consideration the Church-taught and practiced racism for past centuries in
which Jews were burned, tortured, stripped of their properties, expelled, had
their children taken away to be raised as Christians, forced into conversion
by the clergy of the Inquisition.
Now the Muslims of the Arab world join with the Christian nations of Europe
to once and for all, wipe out the people of G-d’s Covenant and then engage in
the last war with each other to prove who is G-d’s Chosen.
I wonder how the winner will find G-d in order to present Him with their deed
of claim and demand His Signature as His acceptance of them for the "New"
Covenant.
The anti-climax to the Durban Conference of Babble is where Jesse Jackson (he
who called New York "Hymie-town") lobbies Arafat, the elusive, and gets his
signature on a worthless hand-written document, committing to erasing all the
anti-Semitic words on the U.N.’s declaration of purpose.
He (Jesse) calls Secretary of State Colin Powell to come on over because
everything was A-OK. In the meantime, Arafat was making a very public
statement expressing his hatred for the State of Israel. The Paper in Jesse’s
hand must have burst into flames, singeing his fingers. Jesse played the fool
and, once again, Arafat did his straight man routine of tricking them all.
The Durban Conference seems not to have dealt with black racism. For example,
President Robert Mugabe, a black despot dedicated to driving white farmers
and businesses out of Zimbabwe has jumped on Arafat’s anti-Jewish bandwagon.
Mugabe is saying that "Jews in South Africa are working in cahoots with their
Jewish colleagues" in Zimbabwe want our textile and clothing factories to
close down. I wonder when he will adopt the canard that Jews are capturing
children to make matzos. Expect more despots, bigots and racist leaders to
blame the troubles they had made for their nations on the Jews. *It has all
happened before.
Did Durban deal with black and Muslims selling blacks into slavery? I didn’t
hear it.
The Durban debacle of fools and psycho-babble will, no doubt, soon fade into
oblivion - except for the stench of the world’s hypocrisy it leaves in South
Africa. The United Nations continues on its journey as a gathering place for
Racism and Racist nations. Perhaps we can all draw some comfort, knowing some
things never change.
The Ziggurat which is the present day Tower of Babble is now called the
United Nations. The U.N. will, no doubt, be toppled as was the last monument
to man’s stupidity, the Tower of Babble.
