Hmm? Yes, since the very unfortunate diversion on 9-11 (the very day Ashcroft was ordered to comply/reply), this definitely has been put on the back burner unattended. I would be interested to know if Ashcroft answered the subpoena or not? (I'm trolling for help sending this also to Alamo-Girl and Annie).
I still wonder if the subpoena is legitimate?? (/sarcasm).
Ron Brown was about to expose the rampent spread of imperialistic capitalism throughout the world in 1996 when he was about to be indicted. He and approx 40 business executives crashed thus preventing the exposure of what was behind this. The lack of investigation of this crash covered it up AGAIN.
The Cox Report was about how the us (we) were compromised in all aspects of military, intellegence, and national security. It was so heavaly redacted that we were not allowed to see the TRUTH.
The "normal" constitutional process of removing those responsible in gov't for the above by use of Checks and Balances was voted on by those , perhaps as guility as those who apparently were, thus the coverup continued.
Now we have a request by what looks like an honorable person to bring illegal campaign financing and countless numbers of other crimes into the spotlight of truth and justice.
Do we really think, with a history that I've summarized above, we are to expect a different result?
I think it is said that that the definition of insainity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again all the while expecting a different result.

The overal reason the terrorist attacks were allowed was to pass by Congress, and to put into place new powers for the Federal Government under the guise of "fighting terrorism" and take away more rights and freedom.
The reason Afganstan in particular must be attacked (whether they turn over CIA-OP bin Laden or not and even everyone the US wants) is to keep up the price of oil). Also thew reason they seem to want to target many countries is create a war and constant terrorism problem with all of Islam and also keep the Arab nations inline with globalisation.
