Have any papers down your way that might want to post this type of letter? There's no copyrights on it so feel free to drag and paste, print and fax or snailmail.

Thanks for the Ping. Sent a similar letter to my local paper last year. I started with a Sanger quote, and pointed out PPs real agenda as stated by Sanger in some of her writings.
Oddly, although most pro-life letters result in a flurry of responses to the editor from pro-death proponents, they were strangely silent on this one - perhaps they looked up the source and had no words to combat the Truth!
Good job, my brother.

If a woman is to free herself effectively, she must make herself absolute mistress of her own body. Yikes. Free herself from what? Her femininity? Her humanity? What exactly are we talking about here?
Plus of course conception can take place in a petri dish. That's why couples unable to conceive au natural go to fertilization clinics.
IMHO Hatch has been in Washington so long he's become a sophist -- someone given to rhetorical performances for fun and profit. (Shades of ancient Athens here....) As Eric Voegelin said of this crowd, "Plato is the deadly enemy of [the sophistic] sport; for the sophists misuse the play of the intellect for the destruction of the people's faith without putting anything in its place."
Great letter, MHGinTn. And short and to the point, too! best, bb.

I'm seeking to define these much picked over issues based on the science, rather than religious assertions.Exactly what needs to be done. The left wants to pin the entire pro-life movement (and everything else they oppose) on religion.
To: Any activists seeking a way to speak out in their community
Ping to those who will give this letter a try by sending it to a local paper in their name (not mine, the papers will not publish out-of-towners in their letters to the editor section ... but there's no copyright, so give it a try locally)! Try sending it to your congressional reps. Let them know what you believe else don't expect them to reflect your beliefs in legislation.

Yikes. Free herself from what? Her femininity? Her humanity? What exactly are we talking about here? I think maybe from her conscience.
