Israeli teacher killed in attack on school bus
JERUSALEM, Sept 9 (AFP) -
An Israeli woman was killed early Sunday when Palestinians opened fire with automatic weapons on a school bus on the West Bank, the army said.
The woman was a teacher, it said. The driver of the bus was also critically wounded.
The minibus in which they were travelling was not armoured and there were no children on board at the time, the army added.
Israeli public radio said the Palestinians fired shots from a car which overtook the bus at a crossing in the Jordan valley.
And where are the "Masses of Moderate Muslims" (TM) decrying this and distancing themselves from this sort of terror?

September 9, 2001JERUSALEM (AP) - Two Israelis were killed and three injured Sunday in a drive-by shooting by suspected Palestinian militants in the West Bank, Israeli officials said. In the Gaza Strip a Palestinian was killed and another wounded.
In the West Bank shooting, a van taking teachers to a school in the Jordan Valley was overtaken by a car with Palestinian license plates and sprayed with automatic fire, witnesses said.
"We have two people killed and three (women) teachers wounded," said David Levy, chairman of the Jewish settlers council in the Jordan Valley. He spoke from the scene of the shooting.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility by any Palestinian group.
In the northern Gaza Strip a Palestinian was brought to a hospital with a bullet wound in his abdomen and said he and a companion had been shot by Israeli soldiers and the companion was killed, a hospital official said. An Israeli military source confirmed that a body had been found in Israeli-controlled territory in the northern Gaza Strip, but made no immediate comment on the circumstances of the killing.
The drive-by shooting came one day after Israeli helicopters fired rockets at offices of Yasser Arafat's Fatah group in Ramallah in an apparent attempt to kill a leading Palestinian militant.
Marwan Barghouti, head of Arafat's Tanzim militia in the West Bank, vowed revenge.
