Ex-Vice President Al Gore is said to be readying a blistering attack on President Bush, set for public debut at the Democratic Party's annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner in Iowa on Sept. 28.
A Gore insider tells next week's U.S. News & World Report's "Washington Whispers" that, "He is focusing on Bush's economic stewardship, foreign policy, and the environment. He has been both sharp and sharp-tongued."
Gore has already road tested his Bush-whack in smaller venues in San Francisco, New York and D.C. and is said to be happy with audience reaction.
Backers are describing the upcoming Iowa speech as Gore's "coming out party."
Gore's early attack could set a new precedent. After Bush's father lost the White House to his boss Bill Clinton in 1992, the Bush family avoided criticism of the new administration for seven years.

I hope he shaves first. No one will take him seriously. Then again, no one took him seriously when he shaved either.
I say let him say what he wants. He'll look like a sore loser- again.

Another round of Al Goring jokes? Mr. Woodhead? All Boaring? Mr. Nowhere man? Just let the song run in your head and think back to the phony "press meeting" with the hundred thousand photo flashes from the "press" that you never saw. I NEVER laughed so hard! Well, there was that one time klinton wagged his finger into the TV cameras and puked up "I never had sexual relations with, uhh, THAT WOMAN"!

Why would Gore "attack" Bush? Junior has adopted THE ENTIRE Gore campaign platform with the exception of Kyoto. Sheesh! Can't those two socialists just kiss and make up?
To: get a clue
I'll be Gore will give us a speech about how he too would have reinstituted the Mexico City Policy, supported the Boy Scouts with a public statement, sent home tax refunds, pushed forward ANWR drilling, etc. etc. Yep, not a dimes worth of difference.

I hope he shaves first.
What does that have to do with anything? I hope he doesn't. Ranting in public as he is now will make him look like a clone of Fidel Castro which is exactly the image and impression the public should get!

ROFL!
To: anniegetyourgun
It has been pointed out that there is an unwritten rule that previous administrations keep quiet about the current one for at least a year. It's called do unto others. Bush The Elder was quiet about Clinton for his entire administration. Dan Qualye did too at for least a year. It's also called decency, something Gore lacks. This was proved by his nulification of the Florida military absentee ballots.

Not only that, he has a long and verifiable track record of lying.
