Hello???? Anybody home at the D.C. Police? What we can not forget is that the parents try every day from the 6th through the 10th to get the Police to enter Chandra's apartment. Aunt Linda told the police on May 9th that Chandra dated Condit, and about the no ID rule. The police find out the next day, on the 10th, that Chandra is gone, and that she left her ID behind. I am not exactly Columbo here. This isn't rocket science. Condit at that point was the very obvious prime suspect from that day forward til they cleared him. They sat on their hands though.
It took until mid-june til they found out Condit's wife was in town, and that was because Joseph Cotchett inadvertantly blurted it out. It took them til late June til Condit voluntarily released a timeline. They wait 4 weeks to question Rebecca Cooper AFTER the timeline is released.
This is so pathetic it would be funny if this young woman probably wasn't dead.
Actually I can't decide whether I think the 'authorities' are too stupid to put 2 + 2 together . . . or simply too lazy to put forth any effort . . . or do they just plain not want to see justice served.
Way back in my younger years, I thought the authorities were on the side of truth and justice. No more. The older I get, the more corruption I see involving our 'leaders', I really think the authorities are simply kept in power to keep truth and justice hidden.
I would love nothing better than to see the whole corrupt bunch of the privileged elite get what they deserve, but I don't think it'll ever happen.
Sure wish YOU were on the offical investigation team, dogbyte! You're good!
