Sorry, I voted "No". Condit should hang around until 2002 to remind everyone what the DemocRAT party stands for. The sheeple should be reminded that letting DIRTXPOTUS skate has guaranteed and will guarantee a parade of Condits in the future.

75% say dump the bum now. I understand your position, but leaving him there would result in folks learning to "live with it", further lowering the bar. The toon was successful in that strategy, dribbling out the scandals, as people made the accomodations to "live with" lower and lower expectations of politiical leaders.

Agreed. I (this is Joe) understand and appreciate the arguments for keeping him in there too, but I for one believe that two things need to happen:

1) Whether he stays in office or not we must keep the pressure and focus on him and make sure that if he is responsible for Chandra's disappearance or death that he is held accountable.

2) I fear if he were to ease through the fierce part of the storm now and survive politically that we would indeed have as you point out Spud, the lowering of the bar.

Interesting discussion on this point and I respect the other side even though I continue to urge a "yes" vote.

Today, September 8th is my (Joe's) birthday and Jackie's (the other co-founder of this effort originally). We were born one year apart and share a Virgo-based determination to see that politicians do not use their powers (abuse their powers) to bring tyranny to our country.

Whatever happened to the person who serves the people (as in does the difficult work, forces oneself to maintain a trust with the public and acts on integrity). Public service is supposed to be a service, not a perk to find young interns and flight attendants to have sex with and play around with neckties and then possibly dump their bodies.

So tragic this case! :(

No no no - he must be another victim of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

Bush, Limbaugh, Cheney et. al forced Condit to sleep around with every woman who would say yes and agree to have a necktie tied around their neck (which is our belief as to how Chandra "disappeared" - unintended death from asphyxiation in a "gasping" exercise)
