[history]
DNA tests show a strand of hair from Jimmy Hoffa was found in a car driven by his "foster son," Charles "Chuckie" O'Brien, the day the embattled Teamsters union boss disappeared more than a quarter century ago, law enforcement authorities said yesterday.

Exactly, and I thought it was going to be Jon Bonet Ramsey's hair...

Hmmm. First, imagine the odds of finding a hair after 25 years! That means nobody, absolutely nobody, had cleaned that car in 25 years. Then it turns out that the car was used by someone really close to Hoffa, so Hoffa might have been a passenger more than once and not necessarily on the day he died (even though this guy cannot remember, 25 years later, driving Hoffa around - and the fact that some of these trips may have related to the sort of stuff that put Hoffa in prison might have helped trigger than amnesia). Then it turns out this car was borrowed from someone else, not a lot of detail about the owner but maybe he knew Hoffa too, and maybe his car was used (borrowed) more than once to drive Hoffa on other days.
Not exactly an iron-clad conclusion to the mystery.

Now that the FBI has pretty much accused Hoffa's "adopted son" - and thrown in a mention of supporting evidence -- does anyone wanna bet how long before that "adopted son" meets with some misadventure??
