What an onslaught of personal, harshly negative invective being spewing forth daily from the Left and their comrades in the elitist media!
Its been non-stop, at a near-dizzying pace on any issue they think will gain traction.
And all of this from the very same hypocrites who so vehemently and falsely charge Republicans with being mean-spirited and evil.
It shouldnt come as any surprise, because the Left knows no decency and has no shame. What is amazing is the relentless and desperate nature of the attacks.
From the economy (read: Clintons recession, which began in October) to Kyoto (which the Senate turned away by a unanimous vote) to the ABM Treaty (which ceased to have any relevance when the U.S.S.R. disintegrated) to missile defense (which frightens the Russians, the communist Chinese and their friends at the New York Times) to the surplus (which should be returned to taxpayers, especially during a slow down) to the Middle East conflict (which the President wisely has maintained must first be realistically addressed by the parties themselves before U.S. involvement) to the Presidents supposed "lack of intelligence (notwithstanding that he graduated from both Yale and Harvard, unlike Junior Gore who flunked out of divinity school and mysteriously left law school) to any other issue, real or imagined, the Left attempts to bang the President about the head and shoulders in a sick attempt to belittle him.
The President, to his great credit, hasnt allowed any of these attacks by the Leftist elite to affect his policy considerations a single iota. He has a strong sense of self, something sorely lacking on the Left, which bolsters him amid this smelly chorus of personal disparagement and seems to steel his resolve.
There is a valuable lesson to be learned from George W. Bush: ignore the Left and do whats right by the people. Republicans in Congress and elected office at the state and local levels should follow his lead, for all too often they seek to please their natural enemies rather than working to best them by enacting their agendas.
Thats the best way to deal with the Left: by simply ignoring them and moving forward, leaving them squealing in our dust, to the delight of a grateful electorate.
Point, set, and match ; in my favor.
You really know your politics.
No the problem is we DO understand how our founding fathers set our government up. And we DO understand how the current government works. And we DO recognize the difference.
No I made my own point and showed you conclusively that the position of president is completely alien to you and many others. It is NOT an autocratic office, no matter what the fringe candidates and their followers say. It requires compromise and finesse, another concept alien to the same group. You and many like you do not want a president you want a dictator, but ONLY if he dictates your pet issues. Once we have such a person in office then "God help us all".
Get off your high horse...you are beginning to sound rather ignorant.
Well golly-gee-whiz, could you educate the rest of us?
Doesn't look promising, no. :^)
ROTFLMAO! Ignorance thy name is thou.
I am always willing to learn. Go ahead.
That WAS Clancy...so duh to me.
You are still beginning to sound rather ignorant however with your asinine remarks about how you know so much more than anyone else. What's the score now?
TA
Long night -- I think I better hit the sack before dawn (I hate it when that happens.) Good night, Texas.
Sleep well.
I used to like and admire Ambassador Keyes. Then things started cropping up ( his use of the race card , as an ouy, when it was uncalled for, and his recent attacks on President Bush as eveil, are outrageous ! ) , and I began to pay more attention to him. He isn't even as good at it as Adlai Stevenson was, but he is in the same mold. It's one thing to hear him speak, but when you read his words, one tends to shake ons head in disbelief.
Phillops is a waste of air and irrelivant.
Buchannan is worse. He sold out and stands for nothing.
By all means, admire and support whom you care to; however, know that not only will they NEVER win ( and you saint with clay feet, Ron Paul is a coward and a fraud. He takes the money and runs under the GOP bannar, but is a Libertarian, who can't get elected as one. He even voted AGAINST the tax cut ! ) and election, they haven't the knowledge, nor the abiity to govern. Don't believe me ? Look at what Pat did ( thank GOD ) to the Reform Party. Look at whom he chose as a running mate. Look at whom he played ball with ( a known Commie , feminist, RACISTS ! ) just so that he could get the Fed money. Oh, and where did that campaign money go ? Into his sister's and nephew's pockets.
My political credentionals are as thorough ( actually more so, but I shan't divulge them ) and them some, as your's. I've also been invilved for a longer time. I've also been HERE for a longer time. So, YOU have NO idea to whom you are talking, dear.
At your age, you should uderstand that fringers have NO consiquence , except as spoilers. Of a buch of gullible, ill educated people hadn't been seduced by a fruit cake, Clinton would have lost in '92.
In the political arena, cutting off your nose to spite your face is perilous.
The newbies are disruptors, and the stripe no lnger matters.
