I was out doing my phys-ed thing today I thought about those boys who went off to fight wars for our and our country's sake and never returned - some of those boys dying in agonizing ways, some of those boys spending weeks in field hospitals before finally called to their final home in heaven - and it put the BIGGEST lump in my throat (as it's doing now) ...

There are many old vet's living in my apartment complex. I don't even approach them with what's happening to our Constitution. Theirs was a simple patriotism. The country was united when they were fighting for our freedoms.

Gee, what has happened to our, simple, American slogan.
