Hello,
As a current Immigration Inspector, I would like to inform everyone about what is going on in INS.
On the amnesty issue, IT WILL HAPPEN.
Currently the administration is working on a NAFTA visa. This visa will be available to all illegals currently in the US and anyone from a NAFTA country. It will allow low wage workers into the US. Once in the US, these workers can asjust status and become resident aliens, which leads to citizenship.
Amnesty by any other name is still amnesty.

Fox returned the compliment, calling Bush ``Jorge''Coincidentally, that's just what President Salinas called Monica Lewinsky.
I wonder if GWB calls President Fox "Vinny"?

Vinny would be a promotion of Vincente, because the US is the "older brother" and it's Fox who's begging. Calling Bush "Jorge" is an insult, however.

According to some Bushies, he likes to let somebody else play a bad cop and badger him constantly. And he reluctantly agrees to a controversial policy, even though that is what he wanted all along. Obviously, he is playing that scenario here. Fox is a bad cop badgering Bush. Bush will be a good cop who will agree to it eventually. And sheeple get snookered. Anything for money !

Dudes, calm down - "Jorge" is Spanish for George.

Fox looks like a classy guy. However, "class" in Mexico has a bigger meaning than it does here in the United States. If people of Fox's class were emmigrating to the U.S. in droves, he would surely object. However, it is a significant portion of the Mexican peasant class who are headed north, and Fox is happy to see them go and does not want them back.
But, remember, America was made great by the disenfranchised peoples of the world who came here to reach their full potential when the upper classes in their native countries offered them no opportunities and trampled their human rights.
FREEDOM..... do we trust people to be FREE? That is the question we are faced with - are all men created equal and deserve recognition of the basic rights bestowed upon us by God? Are the immigration laws in place to protect FREEDOM, or to enslave us all to the new upper class of Americans - the bureaucrats?

What's the Spanish for "bush"? Spanish for "Jorge" is "putana", I believe. Or is that Italian?

Third world countries do pay attention to "class" or "honor", which are used to claim a bigger piece of pie in a corrupt economy.

America doesn't need criminal ignorant peasants from Mexico. They are burden on the society, no matter how many poetic false analogies with legal immigrants you spout.

People have already spoken against illegal immigration. Respect that.

I especially like the "one-termer" line - it's original and I've never seen it here on FR before!

GOOD GOSH PEOPLE...GET A GRIP!! Our President knows exactly what he is doing! IN all the time I've been a freeper here, I have never seen so many freepers so up tight, mean spirited, insulting to a particular race before. You are casting stones before the sin has occurred! Mr. Bush has made it VERY CLEAR that those immigrants have to follow INS procedures in order to obtain citizenship. Frankly I am little disappointed :( Mr. Fox made an EXCELLENT speech in Ohio this afternoon over the future of Mexico. Truly it was very inspiring and full of vision for his country. Hopefully someone will post the transcript.

"Criminal ignorant peasants from Mexico"?
...hate to burst the bubble, but a recent Az stat from INS said that eight percent of catches in the first half of this year were Mexican citizens.
Guatamala was the biggest source.
Give amnesty to the illegals that can PROVE they're from Mexico, and they'll be a lot of nervous Guatamalans ducking and jiving.
