The straw market vendors are most likely back in business as we speak. Picture a large open air "flea market" with lots of gerry-rigged tables and racks. Easy to set up again immediately. Most crafts and straw wares are made in the hinterlands, so there will be no shortage of things to sell. The Market is a one of the Bahamas main tourist attractions. It will be restored quickly. I have a couple unique straw items on my shopping list to purchase there. I sympathize with the friendly vendors there. I wish them well for a speedy return to normal business.
