idiot
noone has advocated legalizing murder., but you are condoning that cops, on on a whim, with weak tips can burst into homes at random and "accidentally" let loose with machine guns.

The Cobb County police thought they had a killer cornered Sunday and they didn't want to waste time. They didn't want to tip him off. They didn't want to endanger themselves or the public. And they didn't want him to get away. I hate to be the one to break it to the officers here, but...well... you should be *damned sure* you've got the right man before breaking into his house. Have you ever heard of survelliance? Hmm?
And the judge who issued the warrant -- what an idiot. Did he ask them 'Are you sure this is the right guy?' No. He said, basically, "Here you go, boys, knock yourselves out. And if you ever need any more warrants, just drop by and ask. My door is always open!" It's pathetic.
It's sad, but this happens far to regularly. I guess we don't need that silly ole 4th Amendment. I mean, it is more important that we bust in on someone as soon as possible rather than we make every effort to allow our citizens to be safe in their home and in their papers...

"Everybody was treated correctly with respect," he said. "If it doesn't work out, you just tell them, 'Thank you for your time.' It's worth it." This quote just gave me shivers!! I can't believe that this crap is happening in America. I thought we had a constitutional right to be secure in our own homes....
What the he!! does "If it doesn't work out" mean? When I got to this paragraph, I honestly thought this may have been an Onion piece.

The lengths some of you go to to defend this nonsense is bizarre. Why would I defend stupid @$$ cops who can't even keep their weapons from accidentally firing?
I'm pointing out that this would never be an issue if murder was legal.

I ain't condoning anything. But I'm just looking for a solution. Why can you be consistent? If we should legalize drugs because of the wrong things that cops have done, why not murder?
To: Stew Padasso
WHOA WHOA WHOA! Who said I am defending these jerks? Read my post again. It's just about a solution.
To: Texaggie79
I was waiting to hear what you (and the other like you)would say
"Everybody was treated correctly with respect," he said. "If it doesn't work out, you just tell them, 'Thank you for your time.' It's worth it."
I'm sure everyone was treated with respect here too, from the viewpoint of the police that is. At least these police aren't wearing ski masks.

I'm pointing out that this would never be an issue if murder was legal. Go for it dumbass, and start lobbying, but do not come to the Libertarians for any help.
We do not need nor want your type pushing your inane ideas of throwing human rights (like the fright to life) out the window.
Ignorance used to be your excuse, but plain stupidity is now.

If they have the right man, every minute may be critical. If they don't, they'll apologize. "Uh, sorry we accidentally shot you, sir. You can come back from the grave now."

That is so sick! I live in Cobb and I am a Libertarian.
I don't want to legalize murder and I don't want a JBT
to kill my wife or my daughter at 3:am and respond,
"we had to act quickly".
To: from occupied ga
BACK the hell up. Why do you people think I am defending the SWAT team on this?
They screwed up big time, they lack professional training, and are to be held accountable for what they did. I am with you, the cops can be idiots sometimes. This is not my point.
To: from occupied ga
Three cheers for the brave cops doing their job. We love you police officers. Nobody is perfect except JC.
To: JMJ333
I love the look on his face. hehe Yes, you can definately see he has a newfound sense of respect for the men and women sworn to protect and serve him. hehehe
To: higgmeister
I don't want to legalize murder and I don't want a JBT to kill my wife or my daughter at 3:am and respond, "we had to act quickly".Then legalize murder, and don't worry about it. Obviously it would work with drugs. Why are you now contradicting?
To: Texaggie79
Haven't we learned our leason from the Libertarians yet. LEGALIZE MURDER, it is the only way to stop this madness. Too late. It has already been legalized -- FOR POLICE.
