I just remembered something my former wife used to do: I had a nice stereo, but couldn't run the volume up to where it sounded really good, so I used my headphones a lot.

On a typical Saturday, the door to my "cave" would swing open, and she'd stand there with this look on her face, and, once I removed the headphones, would angrily state that she'd been calling me.

She was annoyed because I didn't answer her ... (duh!).
