There are more than 1000 less restaurants in California since the ban when in than before it was enacted.
The folks that want you to believe business is better than ever talk about the increase in business - what they fail to tell you is that the increase has been for fast food, takeout and catering, not for sit down dine in business.
Don't believe everything the lamestream media feeds you - you might find out the truth.
No, "we" don't "do great." We have 1036 fewer dine-in restaurants than we should have according to the amount of growth here since the bans took effect. Even Palm Springs is having to permit drive-thrus on historic Palm Canyon Drive, and the hospitality business in SF is down to 1994 levels. If you intend to spout off in favor of the loss of liberties, you really should get the facts first.
No, it is NOT the recession causing restaurant sales to be down in Kalifornia. On my trips to Kalifornia now, I spend very little(only what I have to) now compared to what I used to spend, and I dont spend much time in their restaurants either, no lingering, no before or after dinner drinks, just get in there and get out as quickly as possible.
