Sounds yummy!!! But I sure can't imagine it with canned peaches! I like them but they are an entirely different food than fresh peaches.

When we lived in eastern NC, we used to have a garden and I did a lot of canning and freezing. But when we moved here, our lives changed drastically and we don't have the time for the gardening ...... and I don't even have room for a freezer in this house ..... :-(

I sure miss having all the fresh veggies and love hearing y'all talk about it. There's no better eating than veggies picked out of your garden and prepared fresh the same day!

I freeze extra peaches from my dad's tree, and use them in this recipe. In a pinch, the canned peaches will do. In the deepest darkest days of winter, canned peaches will do.
