Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said he has opened an investigation into Seminole County’s late upload of several hundred Election Day votes.
Election officials discovered the issue during post-election checks. The Secretary of State said the office identified 388 more votes recorded than votes cast in Seminole County.
County election officials were notified of the issue and it was found that a memory card containing election results was not uploaded to the county’s management system.
The Secretary of State said the missing memory card changed the outcome of the State House District 154 race. Before the discovery, incumbent State Representative Gerald Green trailed by less than 100 votes; after the results were included, he now leads by 262.
"Our office identified a significant discrepancy, alerted county officials, and uncovered a failure to properly upload election results. This oversight didn't just affect the numbers - it changed who was leading an election.

Why were 400 election day votes on a memory card?
More dirty rigged American “election” news.
The republican is now in the lead.

I guess Raffensperger finally found the votes....
Rat Tur didn’t catch it. Citizens caught it. BTW - It flipped to Republican.
This has been going on across the country. They’re going to steal every vote they can.

The question is how many more situations like this occurred around the country but nothing was done?
That would be terrible.
You and I serve as the source of knowledge of our charges. We even determine if a charge was not something we authorized.
If ballots go to them, how can we ever say they were properly recorded in the final tally? How do you know you were the 302,162 vote for a representative and know that all the others were properly added? Visa could be saying everyone was that number and we’d have to all agree publicly to show what number we were that was for that person, to begin to independently compile an independent record. Do you really want everyone to have to be told everything everyone voted for, just to corroborate a legitimate vote total?
Exactly right!
Missing memory cards, shutting out independent observers,
"late" votes that show up a 3AM, "malfunctioning" machines,
not enough ballots, etc. We have all seen
this sort of thing quite a bit lately.
They all signs of election fraud!
Keeoing this seat would cut the Dims House majority to one seat.
If voting was on the block chain, they would not be able to cheat.
I disagree. We're already saying that now.
First, Visa and Mastercard would have yuge reputational problems if the things you speculate would occur. That would threaten their core business if people lost trust in their ability to accurately tabulate transactions.
Second, the PoS technology that they have is already highly credible. If we move to a national voter ID in the form of a credit card with a PIN, and each person taps their card on the voting machine and enters their PIN, they are authorized to transact/vote. The votes are tallied immediately and kept secret until the polls close.
Once the elections are certified, the ballots are destroyed and the cards are reset as not voted.
The companies would have to have user/voter portal where voters can validate/change their PINs if they forget them, but otherwise the system would prevent a Voter ID to be used multiple times per election.

Rafs: We just wanted to diss Trump again. They didn’t want to destroy the Republican brand as a wholly owned subsidiary of K street.
Golly! 👶
There can be no doubt the technology is available.
Add a photo of the voter placing the vote (Walmart for one has that tech) and all that is remaining is aa bullet-proof means of proper voter registration.
State DMV's already include a photo and could verify citizenship, with the DL indicating "Yes" or "no".
With this capability, a computerized system would compare the license photograph with a new photograph taken at the voting location. In the case of non-drivers, the photo would be obtained at registration.
“BTW - It flipped to Republican.”
It’s so BTW that Amanda didn’t even mention it.
It’s Georgia and Ratsperger is involved. Sure, completely believable, Brat.
