That didn't take long. Democrats had barely clinched Congress last night when their supporters were calling for the execution of Elon Musk for being a "traitor to the west."

I really like the Tesla 3. However, if solid state batteries hit the market, a current or older model Tesla’s value will crater. I like to sell a car to help pay for a newer car.

The output is in the milliwatt range. Currently, it would take several thousand tons of nuclear-diamond batteries to power a vehicle. I’m guessing we will see solid state batteries hit the consumer market long before nuclear-diamond batteries. If you have information to the contrary as I like to read.

I’ve been hoping Musk is prepared to go Galt ala Wyatt. Imagine if every StarLink satellite had a kilo of plastique in it. Musk presses an extra button on his car key fob, and the network goes down and orbital space is trashed for hundreds of years.
Have his launch facilities similarly configured, and the US is earth bound for decades. Leave the Teslas alone, they’re private property.
More likely though, he has a bugout plan which will make his future home one of the richest countries in the world.
