New York's Orthodox Jewish community has reached a historic political milestone, with election results confirming that a record 10 Orthodox Jewish lawmakers will serve in the NY state legislature in Albany.
The incoming and returning lawmakers include eight members of the New York State Assembly, the lower chamber, and two members of the State Senate. They represent major Jewish communities across the state, including Brooklyn, Queens, Rockland County and Nassau County.
The unprecedented representation in both legislative chambers is expected to strengthen the Orthodox community's influence over state policy, particularly on education funding, religious freedom, support for religious institutions and the protection of Jewish life.
The eight Assembly members are Simcha Eichenstein, Kalman Yeger, Joey Cohen-Saban, Sam Berger, David Weprin, Pesach Osina, Aron Wieder and Ari Brown. Sam Sutton and Lisa Wieder will represent the community in the State Senate.

In Michigan, nearly 60% of Jewish voters voted for Abdul El-Sayed.
See here:
Unbelievable. Suicidal.
Black legislators represent the Black community. Latinos represent the Latino community. Muslims and Asians and gays represent their communities.
Only straight white Christians/gentiles are expected to serve the interests of everyone in their districts, equally and impartially, in a color-blind fashion.
Suicidal Empathy, same ones in the Kibbutz’s in Israel who took Palestinians to doctors appointments and invited them over for dinner..those same Palestinians on Oct 7th went into those houses and butchered the same Israeli’s who gave them food and a free ride to see an Israeli doctor..that is the mentality of ANY Jew who would vote for Sayed
They had agency. They made a choice. Let them face any consequences that may come of that choice.
