Tommy Robinson conviction leaves far right with leadership void
The Guardian ^ | November 1, 2026 | Ben Quinn

The verdict was met with a groan from Tommy Robinson’s supporters, who had sat behind the dock throughout his harassment trial.

It took more than 11 hours of jury deliberations to find the far-right activist guilty of harassment causing fear of violence to two journalists, enough time for a band of lieutenants and hangers-on to get their hopes up that he might be acquitted.

Yet as Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, potentially faces up to 10 years in prison, another narrative has now taken hold. A miscarriage of justice has taken place, according to messages pumped out across his own media platforms and the ecosystem of self-styled “citizen journalists”. Some carried wild commentary during the trial, including from Robinson himself, who wondered aloud about a “Muslim” member of the jury.

Other voices have since joined in, including Reform UK members and Rupert Lowe, the leader of the Restore Britain party and Nigel Farage’s main rival for hard-right voters. “Tommy Robinson has been found guilty – it is my view that the system has, again, treated him unfairly. We live in dark times,” tweeted Lowe, the MP for Great Yarmouth.

Evidence at Southwark crown court heard how Robinson used what the prosecution described as “bullyboy, intimidatory tactics” against Daily Mail reporters Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber after they reported on his alleged role influencing the 2024 Southport riots.

They were forced to employ security or leave their homes, while a statement from Young’s daughter told of encounters outside the family address with men believed to have been sent by Robinson, a self-styled champion of women’s safety.

England is dead. America should take heed.

It’s OK to “cause fear of violence” to Tommy Robinson, though.

See how that works?

Yup—and soon enough we may have AI judges—to add insanity upon insanity.

“City ordinance said no waving your arms in public on Tuesday. This is a video of you waving your arms in public on Tuesday—with confirming date, day and time stamp. Guilty.”

They sentence people like him to years of prison, while giving a slap on the wrist to muslim rapists and thugs. We’ve seen it here, too.

What was the nature of the “threats” that Robinson allegedly made?

Ah, news about the “far right” coming from an organization so far left that it beyond the outermost limits of our universe.
Shove your silly ideas up your collective Marxist/Dorkbamaholes oh Guardian simpletons. You’ll get your rewards when Islam proceeds to ruin what is left of your formerly great land.

Did he blow up a bus or a subway train? Did he hijack a plane and fly it into a skyscraper - killing thousands? Did he target the UK banking system for personal gain (i.e. Soros)? Did he burn buildings and demand that areas of the UK abide by his religion’s law instead of English law? Does he demand that his wife cover her face, hair, and body in public, and be submissive to him? Did he participate in gang-raping of young British girls and/or women? Is his allegiance to the UK, or to other nations who share his world-view?

This is a huge miscarriage of justice. The British hierarchy have the stick shoved so far up their tight asses such that they are getting brain damage.

The Red Guardian taking a victory lap, predictable as the dawn. What they mean by a leadership void is that both Robinson and Danny Tommo have been silenced by the state that the little chuckling communists at the Guardian serve so faithfully. The smirking is nearly as disgusting as the fact that it’s been done at all.

The previous link omitted the fact that “journalists” had doxxed his wife and children and he and his wife divorced to keep them safe.

I wonder what would happen if Robinson actually committed the crime for which he was convicted. Would the powers that be in England be hesitant to persecute him if they were actually afraid?
