Democrat Peggy Flanagan is leading in the Minnesota Senate race against GOP competitor Michele Tafoya, according to a new poll.
In The New York Times/Siena University poll, 54 percent of respondents said they were more likely to cast their ballot for Flanagan if Election Day were that day, while 40 percent said the same for Tafoya. Less than half a percent chose another candidate, and 5 percent were unsure of their choice or gave no answer.
The double-digit gap between Flanagan and Tafoya is notable, as the Minnesota lieutenant governor was recently holding a slim lead over the former NFL reporter. And nonpartisan election handicapper Cook Political Report shifted the race toward the Republicans, from “likely” to “lean” Democrat, just a short time ago.
In a polling average from Decision Desk HQ, Flanagan was leading Tafoya 47.4 percent to 43.8 percent on Wednesday morning.

Not in an honest election..
Nonsense
Dem will likely win but it’s not double digits
The Mexicans should have stayed with the MAGAs. Flanagan is going to screw them over. ROTFL!
Are you getting the stories you post from DU?
So from a 1 point lead to a 14 point lead? I dont think so.
Yep. I could see a few points, but not 14 overnight.

Yeah, isn’t it?
Yet another stupid push-poll engineered by a frightened DemonRat cabal. No matter how much you hate the ‘Rats and the NYT, you don’t hate them near enough.

I think they’ve given her desks at NYT and WaPo.
Tafoya should be way ahead, because after over 35 separate telephone number pleas from her, a whole army of people have been collecting $15 at a time. You block one and three more come at you with the same message.
I think the only other person to have texted me for a single person’s campaign from more numbers is Donald Trump, and that’s an off-the-charts number.
Stop texting me, stupid woman.
That would explain it!
BS
Not sure how accurate the polls are but I’m nostalgic for the days when the Minnesota electorate was only crazy enough to elect Jesse Ventura to office
