Fairfax County (Washington DC city-state) prosecutor declined prosecutions of illegal immigrants for DUI, drugs, says audit

Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano’s policy of leniency toward immigrants has caused his prosecutors to regularly decline to pursue cases involving drunken driving, felony drug possession, shoplifting and grand larceny against migrants, according to a new congressional audit.

Investigators for the House Judiciary Committee said they found more than 100 previously unreported cases in which Mr. Descano’s office failed to prosecute or under-prosecuted cases against migrants. That included a Chinese migrant “serial fraudster” who had more than 50 charges dropped.

The audit, released Tuesday, tied those cases to Mr. Descano’s stated desire to protect immigrants from having to face deportation because of criminal behavior.

A cop was talking to his old friend, my mechanic, while I listened to him while working on my car. The cop was explaining the ticket his friend had just gotten. He said the job was all about bringing in revenue. He never stopped a car of non-white people unless he had to. By law they must run wants and warrants. A car with four black men would usually net at least two. This, he said, killed their day with paperwork. Stop an elderly white, you write your ticket and you’re on your way in minutes.

My legally here Hispanic buddy said the code inspector stopped by. He had built a free-standing home with the electric hotwired through the air from his house for his mother-in-law. It had no plumbing. Two relatives were living on his property in RVs with the plumbing running across the ground to an open pit. He pretended to be an illegal. The inspector went away and never came back. As Victor Davis Hansen said, “the law is only enforced against the white middle class.”

People who read about the Fairfax County Soro’s prosecutor and the Sheriff’s complicity must recognize how screwed up the government is in Fairfax County. The prosecutor is effectively a Soros anarchist. The sheriff is not a true county sheriff elected by the citizenry but a politically appointed court bailiff to escort prisoners. Long ago the sheriff relinquished through agreement the Constitutional sheriff’s powers to the Fairfax County Police leaving him a neutered law enforcement officer.

The Attorney General of Virginia, Jay Jones was found to have expressed these sentiments during the election:

• He said that if certain Republicans (including Gilbert) died before him, he would “go to their funerals to p*** on their graves” / “send them out awash in something.”

• In a hypothetical scenario with a gun and only two bullets, choosing among Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, and Gilbert, he stated Gilbert “gets two bullets to the head.” He added: “Spoiler: put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both bullets every time.”

• He expressed a wish that Gilbert’s children would die (referenced as hoping Jennifer Gilbert’s children would die “in their mother’s arms”), saying: “Yes, I’ve told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy.” He also called Todd and Jennifer Gilbert “evil” and said they were “breeding little fascists.”

So, none of this surprises me in the least. From the Left, this is wholly expected behavior.

Perhaps the Department of Defense can be moved to South Dakota if Thune gets what Trump needs to get done done.

The DoD in South Dakota could be dispersed and not put in a huge 5-sided building wherein a single nuclear bomb could take out all the top military brains.
