Beni Rae Harmony, who once posed in a f--- Joe Biden T-shirt, caught the president’s eye during trip on Air Force One
As Air Force One left Ireland on Sept 13, Donald Trump entered the press cabin. He was in a good mood and holding a stack of papers.
At the top of the first page were the words: “Beni Rae Harmony”, followed by a list of bullet points. The glamorous young reporter of that name was on the plane and, over the course of the trip to Doonbeg, had become something of a star.
Just 24 years old, Beni Rae Harmony was working for Real America’s Voice, a Right-wing outlet founded by Steve Bannon, Mr Trump’s former adviser.
Her past was not without controversy – in 2021 she had posed with a rifle beside a festive fireplace wearing a shirt which read “f--- Joe Biden”.
On the Ireland trip, the questions were focused on the vacancy in the president’s press team following Karoline Leavitt’s resignation on Aug 12.
Mr Trump was giving Ms Harmony pointed looks. At one point, he jabbed his finger in her direction. “Would anyone like to be press secretary?” he asked.
Three weeks later, on Oct 2, she announced that she would be joining the White House press team as an assistant press secretary.
In a matter of weeks, she has gone from reporting on the sidelines of the White House to an insider, and those close to the Trump administration think she could be the next Karoline Leavitt.
“There’s only one Karoline Leavitt, but Beni Rae Harmony is certainly cut from the same cloth. She’s young, fearless on camera, and deeply loyal to the president,” CJ Pearson, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee Youth Advisory Council, told The Telegraph.

Real America’s Voice is a conservative news outlet, not a “right-wing” outlet.
The Telegraph is a left-wing news outlet, just like CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNOW, etc.
