Democratic star James Talarico has taken a nearly two-week hiatus from the campaign trail amid the final push before the midterms, causing Democrats to sound the alarm.
The Texas state representative has been absent from in-person campaign events for 12 days after contracting the flu, giving his scandal-ridden Trump-endorsed opponent, Ken Paxton, ammunition ahead of the crucial election on Nov. 3.
“He’s, like, really sick. Believe me, we don’t want this right now,” a Texas Democrat affiliated with the Talarico race told NBC News. “We’d rather have him on the trail.”

Or it could be that Trump is right about Talarico. When you go about30 years without eating meat and then are forced to do so in on the campaign trail to pretend you really do like meat, it can be quite a shock to the digestive system.
The funny thing is that after I heard Trump make that observation I bought a GroupOn for a Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio which I will be using this weekend.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Talarico’s own campaign says he was diagnosed at a Dallas urgent care the night of September 28, too contagious to face Texans.
Small problem. He had two back to back New York fundraisers on his own invitations.
Monday, September 28, 7:00 pm, downtown Manhattan, with Robert De Niro.
Tuesday, September 29, 5:30 pm, Greenwich Village.
Texas Scorecard asked the campaign about that second fundraiser. No answer.
The Daily Wire asked about the canceled Texas events. No answer.
Nobody has explained how he was in a Dallas urgent care the same night he was at a Manhattan reception.

I just watched Al Sayed debate Rogers. More action. Al Sayed was all over the place and constantly interrupting. Gotta admit he’s slick just like Clinton and Obama but his mean streak was showing and it should cost him. Rogers best point was to say his opponent is manufactured and one can see why. He went straight for the governors office before running for senate. These lower offices are beneath him.
