President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday that a Maine stop may be on his schedule, though he did not give a date.
“I don’t know about Maine, I think we’re going to Maine too but we’re going to Michigan in a week and a half,” Trump said during a gaggle, according to the in-town pool report.
Asked about mail-in voting, Trump said, “I’d rather have them vote in-person, but they can vote by mail if they want… a lot of people want to vote by mail, but a lot of very good people also want to vote in-person.”
He also pushed back on polls showing a drop in his support among Latino voters: “My polls are great.”
The White House has not announced a Maine trip.
Trump’s last visit to Maine was October 25, 2020 — a surprise campaign stop at Treworgy Family Orchards in Levant, near Bangor.
However, Maine has remained a topic of conversation at the White House due to the disproportionate amount of welfare fraud, as well as Gov. Janet Mills (D) picking a fight with the Commander-in-Chief over her insistence that young women be forced to compete in high school sports against males who say they are girls.

She should be destroying Troy Jackson. Yet, it’s a dead heat.
Interesting. I don’t know if it will help her or hurt, but I’m even more interested in whether she’d agree to appear with him. Maybe he’ll just show up to campaign for the Governor’s race, and while he’s there he can bring up Troy Jackson all he wants. No need for Collins to show up.
LOL! RCP…what a joke.
That’s a hard no. Collins is ahead in current polling.
Collins wins by 15%
