October 7 Was a Slave Raid
American Greatness ^ | Oct 4 2026 | Charles Jacobs

When the first survivors’ accounts came out of Israel’s kibbutzim, I had the terrible sense that I had heard them before. And I had, in South Sudan.

More than two decades earlier, I traveled to Sudan to witness Christian Solidarity International freed 2,952 black Africans from slavery. My American Anti-Slavery Group had helped raise funds to buy back their freedom.

The freed slaves told us that the raiders came at dawn, screaming “Allahu akbar!” and murdered at will. They gang-raped the women and girls, then dragged them off as captives to use as concubines, domestics, or to sell.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out the same raid.

They came at dawn. They went house-to-house through Be’eri, Kfar Aza, and Nir Oz and murdered families. At the Nova music festival, they hunted and murdered young people in cold blood, ignoring pleas for mercy. They raped and sexually tortured the women and girls. They drove 251 captives back into Gaza. Noa Argamani reported that they used her as a domestic slave. One raider called his parents from a murdered woman’s phone to boast that he had killed 10 Jews with his own hands.

The Jews’ enemies called October 7 a desperate act of “resistance,” but it was a classic jihad raid—an act as old as the conquests throughout Egypt, Persia, India, and North Africa, and as recent as the murderous assaults on Africans in Nigeria and Darfur, and on Alawites, Christians, Kurds, and Druze in Syria.

The same doctrine

Both Hamas and the National Islamic Front regime in Sudan—which carried out the slave raids—are branches of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The 1988 Hamas charter calls openly for the worldwide extermination of the Jews in order to destroy the only nation in the Middle East that won back its homeland from jihad conquest. In Europe, only Spain, in recapturing Andalusia, accomplished that.

The ties between jihadists who massacred and enslaved Israelis and those who did it to Africans (and have done it to Middle Easterners and Europeans) are also material. For years, Sudan gave Hamas refuge and served as the corridor for weapons smuggled from Iran’s Islamic regime to Gaza. Strikes attributed to Israel hit weapons convoys on Sudanese soil in 2009 and a munitions factory in Khartoum in 2012. The jihadists who massacred and enslaved Africans helped arm the movement whose men came through the fence on October 7.

“But the occupation”

Before Israel had even identified all its dead, the justifications began. We were told the massacre had a “context.” There was an “occupation,” a “siege,” a “cycle of violence.” A collection of 27 student groups at Harvard declared Israel “entirely responsible” for the atrocity visited upon it.

Ask the people of South Sudan what occupation they were guilty of. Ask the Christians of Nigeria’s Plateau State, nearly 200 of whom were butchered in their villages on Christmas Eve 2023. Ask the Yazidi women sold in ISIS slave markets, or the 21 Copts beheaded on a Libyan beach in 2015. None of them was occupying anybody’s land, and the killers came for them all the same—with the same slogans, the same methods, and the same appetite for captives.

The “context” for October 7 is not Judea, Samaria, or Gaza. It is 14 centuries of jihadist conquests—many of which have also killed and enslaved Muslims who got in the way, as in Nigeria, or who refused to give up their African cultures and become Arabized, as in Mauritania and Darfur.

The institutions looked away again In the 1990s, I learned that the great human rights organizations knew that Arabs owned black Africans as slaves in Sudan and chose not to make a fuss because the perpetrators were not the white Western villains their constituents want to shame in self-purification rituals that relieve them of their white guilt. For that, they abandon the victims of jihadism. After October 7, the same institutional reflex kicked in. UN Women took nearly two months to condemn the sexual violence against Israeli women. Prominent human rights groups hurried to put the massacre in “context,” then spent the next three years decrying Israel’s response. Campus activists tore down posters of kidnapped children. For the Dinka of Sudan and the Jews of Israel alike, the lesson was the same: the human rights establishment will not come when you are tortured, killed, or enslaved. Or, as I titled an op-ed I wrote in the Boston Globe in 2002, “Why Israel, and not Sudan, is singled out.” ....

This is a really great article that points out that Islamic conquest is not something that extremists do, it is something that Islam does.

The raid on Oct 7 was not a one off, but something that is practiced all over the civilized world, when it meets Islam.

Here is footage of 22 year old Aner Elyakim Shapira throwing back 7 grenades at the guys trying to get him and others. Ultimately, he saved the lives of at least 7 people who survived the massacre.

Excellent article! Thanks for posting it, TB. It infuriates me that so many are apologists for the wanton murder and destruction wrought by moslems.

A few days ago, this ran on X. It's a good adjunct to the article you posted going back to the beginning of moslem terror and conquest.

The Conquest Began Immediately

Muhammad died in 632. Within three years, Muslim armies had taken Damascus (635). The next year, Antioch (636). The year after that, the entire Holy Land (637) — the spiritual center of Christendom, gone. Armenia became the first Christian nation fully conquered (639). Egypt, the Coptic Christian power, fell two years later (641). By 650, Muslim forces had reached southern Italy and Cyprus, taking thousands of captives as "slaves" and "concubines." Then came Spain — Muslim armies crossed from North Africa in 711 and overran most of Iberia by 715.

In roughly 80 years, Christianity lost the Middle East, North Africa, and most of the Iberian Peninsula.

They Invaded Europe — Repeatedly

This was not exploration. This was conquest. In 717, Muslim forces besieged Constantinople itself — the capital of Eastern Christendom. The siege lasted a year before they were repelled. Had it succeeded, the path into Europe would have been wide open.

In 730, they invaded France. Charles Martel stopped them at Tours. In 792, the ruler of Al-Andalus called for a second invasion of France. Repelled. In 848, a third invasion of France. Repelled again.

In 827, Muslims invaded Sicily and Italy, persecuting monks and pillaging Christian communities. Sicily would remain under Islamic rule for 250 years. In 846, they invaded Rome itself and forced the Pope to pay tribute. By 909, they had taken Sardinia.

This was relentless, coordinated, and existential.

Then They Attacked What Mattered Most

In 937, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher — built over the site Christians believe is the tomb of Christ — was burned to the ground. More churches in Jerusalem were torched alongside it. In 1009, the Church of the Resurrection was destroyed. By 1012, Al-Hakim's oppressive decrees against Christians had begun in earnest.

Christian pilgrims could no longer safely visit the sites of Christ's ministry. The holiest city in Christendom was ruled by a hostile power systematically destroying the faith itself.

Then Constantinople Called for Help

In 1071, Muslim Turkish forces shattered the Byzantine army at Manzikert and occupied most of Anatolia. Constantinople was now directly threatened.

In 1094, Byzantine Emperor Alexios I Komnenos sent envoys to Rome begging Western Christendom for military aid.

In 1095, Pope Urban II declared the First Crusade.

463 years of conquest. The siege of Constantinople. Three invasions of France. 250 years of Islamic rule over Sicily. The Pope forced to pay tribute. The Holy Sepulcher burned to the ground.

The Crusades weren't the start of the story. They were the reply.

The Snackbar Boys have never given up on trying to take France.

Love the final scene in the movie “Citizen Vigilante”, where Hammer rubs out the Musloid vermin.

I had to look up 7 October 1571. That’s the first time I’ve read about the connection to 7 October.

On 7 October 1571, the Battle of Lepanto was fought in the Gulf of Patras, off southwestern Greece near the port of Lepanto (modern Nafpaktos).

It was a large naval engagement between the Holy League and the Ottoman Empire. The Holy League was a coalition organized by Pope Pius V, mainly the fleets of Spain (including Naples, Sicily, and other Habsburg territories), the Republic of Venice, and the Papal States, with smaller contingents from Genoa, Savoy, and the Knights of Malta. It was commanded by Don John of Austria (Juan de Austria), half-brother of Philip II of Spain. The Ottoman fleet was led by Müezzinzade Ali Pasha.

The battle grew out of the Ottoman invasion of Venetian Cyprus (1570–71). Both sides used oared galleys; the Holy League also deployed several large Venetian galleasses with heavy guns. Estimates put the Christian force at roughly 200+ galleys and about 30,000 soldiers, against a somewhat larger Ottoman fleet. After several hours of fighting that included boarding actions, the Holy League won decisively. Ottoman losses were heavy: Ali Pasha was killed, dozens to nearly 200 ships were sunk or captured (figures vary by source), and tens of thousands of sailors and soldiers were killed or captured. Christian losses were also substantial, on the order of several thousand dead.

It was the last major Mediterranean battle fought almost entirely with galleys. The victory checked Ottoman naval power for a time, boosted Christian morale, and became a major symbolic event in Europe, though the Ottomans rebuilt their fleet within a few years and still took Cyprus by treaty in 1573.

no kidding: sharia == slavery.

thus sharia islam cannot be tolerated in America.

1. sharia *law* that is incompatible with American law must be completely condemned and banned (e.g., slavery of any form).

2. no Christian church (abandoned or sold out, past or present) can ever be replaced by an islamic mosque.

3. no islamic desecrations of American public/historical spaces or graveyards, etc. allowed, ever.

4. a complete ban on child ‘marriage.’

5. or forced or arranged marriage of any kind.

6. no forced exposure to public prayer calls.

7. no forced conversion or re-conversion of other believers or apostates of islam.

8. no tax payer support for sharia indoctrination of any kind.

9. deportation of any muslim who practices sharia law in America.

in other words. zero tolerance for any public action or expression of theocratic sharia islam in America. period.

I believe the Christian victory at Lepanto on October 7, 1571, led to the freeing of thousands of Christian slaves who had been slaves of the Turks--galley slaves. They would have been all men, but the Turks also enslaved women when they raided coastal villages.

Most of the Balkans was under Ottoman rule at one point. Now only the area around Istanbul is under a Muslim government. Albania and Kosovo have Muslim majorities but as far as I know they don't incorporate any Muslim ideas of government--both are areas under former Communist rule. Likewise with Bosnia--Bosnia is something like 45% Muslim and the Muslim Bosniaks outnumber the Catholic Croats in their half of Bosnia.

The rest of the Balkans represents countries liberated from Muslim rule.

I said after September 11, 2001, we should have flattened Mecca. Just flattened it. Put it on the same list as Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I would have, if I were President. On September 12, the Dome of the Rock would have been gone.

Like all those who died on 9/11/2001, those who died from complications afterwards, those who died in the wars after this date, those who died in jihad attacks, those who are dying daily from Islam here and around the world-—their lives lost have been for naught as Texas and America have allowed Islam to spread with ease across the nation. Mosques increase 228%. Approx. 5.5 million muslims. TX, Florida, Calif., NY and Florida greatest concentration of mosques.
You cannot convince families, even Christian families who are living the high life this is a problem. Insanity.

“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.” - Revelation 12:15-16

The October 7th 2023 attack against Israel even called itself “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.” Iran gave the order on October 3rd 2023.

This is not a battle against flesh and blood and Satan knows his time is short.

The “flood” comes out of the mouth of the Dragon (Satan) prior to anti-Christ ‘marking’ the entire world with a number (666 = Computer) for all buying and selling as shown in Revelation 13.

The Rider on the Red Horse = War. The West has been ‘flooded’ with War and chaos by outside invaders pouring in, the sea and the waves roaring and distress of nations.

Jesus said:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” - Luke 21:25

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I thought the same then and was mocked for saying we should have nuked Mecca. We have not learned our lesson. I don't think we ever will.
