New details from the interrogation of Hamam al-Hammami, the Flydubai co-pilot who attempted to hijack a flight from Dubai to Israel, indicate that the terrorist intended to crash the plane into Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, causing mass casualties, Israeli officials said on Sunday.
According to the officials, for this reason, al-Hamami only began his hijacking attempt over Jordan. The plan was to continue flying toward Israel to make it appear as a routine flight to Ben Gurion.

9:10 pm Eastern Standard Time? Let’s see. Jerusalem Time at 11:05 pm, when I posted, is seven hours ahead of Eastern. So that rules out Eastern. It’s two hours ahead of Greenwich Time. Where is Mr. Mojo based? If UK, I beat him by five minutes. If France, he beat me by an hour. I searched every story with the keyword “FlyDubai” in it, and the coast was clear. His profile doesn’t say where he is. Anyone know?
Pretty sure the post time is shown according to your local time.
If you refresh the page, you might see it briefly display the time it was in Fresno (PDT) when it was posted on the FR server, but the display switches to your local time in short order.

I agree. God’s hand surrounded the plane and chose the heros on it. I do believe that this terrorist had help, probably from Oman and Iran..

That shows the kind of defenses Israel has. He knew he could get to Ben Gurion without being shot down for going off course.
