He ran for the off-duty crew because nobody was flying the plane. FZ1073 was Dubai to Tel Aviv. It plunged thousands of feet. Passengers and a reserve crew put it on the ground in Saudi Arabia.
Global media still wanted a “fight between pilots.” The man at the front called him a terrorist. Believe the cabin.

Are the Indian pilot who fought the hijacker and unlocked the cockpit door or the off duty English pilot who stepped inside to steer the plane gonna be in the movie?
Yes, but they will be portrayed as black, Hispanic, queer, trans, female, atheist, or some combination thereof. The attacker co-pilot will be portrayed as a Christian white male US military veteran.
