Russian agents are posting ads online, preying on the vulnerable to fight for them, and sadly, people are falling for it. The money doesn't outweigh the risks.
Russia is running out of troops and as a result has resorted to recruiting Americans to fight on the front lines by offering them an incentive of a $27,000 signing bonus.
The Kremlin has reportedly duped 18 Americans into fighting on their behalf against Ukraine and according to insiders, it’s a suicide mission.

The signing bonus is in the form of a check payable to their next of kin.

Implying that Ukraine doesn’t care about the lives of American troops will definitely TRIGGER the Zelensky Cheerleaders (even if it’s true, which it is).
That’s not enough to buy a farm.
But you can buy THE farm.
You can get that much bonus to enlist in our army as a parachute rigger with a quick ship kicker. My guess is these people are spun up on the internet to believe they really want to kill somebody for the cause and the money is irrelevant.
There is always a good market for ship kickers.
The American troops that President Trump has in Ukraine learning new fighting techniques from them would choose to fight for the American side against the Russian and North Korean forces if they had to choose.

I do fully expect more of this garbage news as Vlad finishes rolling up Ukraine....extreme power grid failures, wide spread internet shut downs, the railroad now shutdown, their big box Amazon type warehouses destroyed, all sea freight in/ out of Odessa halted, all the major ports shut down, etc, etc...

I wonder how many have relevant military experience that helps? As a kid, I recall a local bloke who had Vietnam War experience and hired out to African governments to fight communist rebels. Local paper did an interview with him. I believe the article included some form of the question/answer ‘What is it like to kill a person? I wouldn’t know, I’ve only killed communists.’ Not sure what became of him or if he is still alaive somewhere or not. I recall hearing he was in Upper Volta at one time and Rhodesia another.
