Probably wouldn’t have gotten 34 wins, but you always have to wonder, what if the 2020 season hadn’t been shortened by the China Virus?
Verlander had Tommy John surgery and only pitched 6 innings in 2020, so we can’t really blame China for this.
On second thought, they blame everything on Trump or climate change or both, we can blame China or their giant pandas or both.

Thanks for posting. Yes, great ending to a great career. Justin Verlander and Jack Morris, two of the best pitchers in Tiger history. I enjoyed watching them at the stadium and on t.v. I pitched at CMU, my older son pitched at University of Detroit, my younger son pitched at Oakland University. I coached youth baseball for 14 years. My grandsons play on baseball teams. Great memories. Thanks JV.

Tommy John has 288 career wins and he is not in the HOF.
Jamie Moyer as 269 career wins and he is not in the HOF.
Hopefully, he goes to Cooperstown as a Tiger.
