London May Become De Jure Party to Ukraine Conflict — [Russian] MFA
TASS ^ | 9/24/26

Sergey Ryabkov pointed out that Moscow's position on the matter had been set out in detail in a note recently handed to the British charge d'affaires in Russia

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. The United Kingdom is providing the Kiev regime with "increasingly multifaceted support and assistance," thereby risking becoming a de jure party to the Ukraine conflict, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters.

According to him, by providing the Kiev regime with "unrestrained and increasingly multifaceted assistance and support," London is directly violating "a number of legally and politically binding documents, both bilateral and multilateral." "The UK has thereby put itself on the verge of transitioning from a de facto party to the conflict to a de jure party," Ryabkov said.

"We are issuing the strongest possible warning to the United Kingdom about the consequences of further escalation," he said. "They are risking their own security," he noted.

The senior diplomat pointed out that Moscow's position on the matter had been set out in detail in a note recently handed to the British charge d'affaires in Russia. "Unfortunately, we are having great difficulty breaking through the layers of their own illusions, delusions and prejudices to explain some basic things," he said, referring to contacts with UK counterparts.

Putin is a psychopath. But that’s not a surprise...Russia’s been ruled by psychopaths for the last several hundred years.

Since Ukraine started this war at the urging of Britain they have groveled closer and closer to being it backer in a war against Russia. This is the same as Iran supporting hamas, hezzies, etc.

Britain, to maintain Ukraine’s status as chief European supplier of money laundering and sex trafficking, has become a regional supporter of terrorism. This justifies Russian attacks on British facilities.

Maybe so, but the larger point remains: Britain and the major European powers have been provoking and confronting Russia for well over a century. The pattern is difficult to ignore. Russia’s enormous reserves of energy, minerals, land, and other strategic resources have long made it an object of European geopolitical and economic interest. The age of formal empire may have passed, but the struggle for access, influence, and control over resources did not disappear with it. The methods changed; the underlying competition for power did not.
They setup Ukraine to do the fighting in a “you and him fight it out, and we’ll reap the rewards” scenario.

What difference does it make? Russia is in no position to do anything about it.

Europe is on the verge of economic collapse. They need Russia’s stuff, by whatever means necessary. That’s what started the war. Keep punching somebody, and eventually they punch back and you shout “He punched me!”

You are kidding yourself if you don’t think Russia was deliberately provoked into this was by the US. This was designed to be a proxy war against Russia from the very beginning.

The UK is already being invaded. 1200 migrants in “small boats” land daily, and the government does nothing except give them full benefits, and put them in public housing.

The UK isn’t a nation, its a WEF-Davos branch office, and these ghouls are doing to the UK what they are doing to the Ukraine - destroying it in the name of globalism and crony-banker money flows

It really doesn't matter. What is going on between Ukraine and Russia is essentially a civil war. They each have their allies to assist them in fighting. Happens a lot in history. During the U.S. Civil War, there were foreign nations assisting both sides. During the U.S. Revolutionary war against Britain, foreign nations also assisted both sides.

One might call it a proxy war, but it is really a civil war. It could end tomorrow, or drag on for decades. Let it play out, and foreign nations must be careful to not be dragged into the conflict, or everyone suffers.

Yes, I am just a little annoyed that Britain continues to conspire to get MORE US involvement in their little war with Russia. No blood for the nation of bad teeth.

Since Ukraine started this war at the urging of Britain

You seem confused. Russia started the war, by seizing Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.

Starting a war means initiating an open, armed, and hostile conflict between different states or nations.

Britain needs to remember what happened the last time they invaded Russia.

And don’t forget Capt. Francis Chromie.

Russia invaded a sovereign country by crossing an internationally recognized border, and launched a war to dismantle its neighbor.

Sure, they forced Putin to invade Georgia in 2008, seize Crimea in 2014 from Ukraine with great fanfare and then invade all of Ukraine in 2022. Right

Russia invaded a sovereign country by crossing an internationally recognized border, and launched a war to dismantle its neighbor.

Utter nonsense!

What did the U.S. and/or Ukraine actually do to provoke Russia to invade Ukraine? Provide details, please.

You’re kidding yourself if you think Russia was provoked.

Twenty years ago, Ukraine was

1. Opposed to joining NATO
2. On good terms with Moscow
3. Run by Moscow mafia
4. Dirt poor
5. Still scarred by Soviet neglect.

What happened? The Putin / Medvedev double act attempted to assassinate the more West-leaning Yuschenko (even though he lost the election without the Kremlin’s help).

Then Russia invaded Georgia, and made it so abundantly obvious that they were just doing a practice run for what’d happen in Ukraine that Poland’s own leader warned Ukraine that what was happening in Ossetia was going to happen to Ukraine.

Putin spent all of 2011 and 2012 blackmailing Ukraine.

By 2013 Putin had put the frighteners on Azarov enough for Azarov to completely reverse his manifesto commitment (and mandate from the people) to pursue better relations with the EU, and that triggered Maidan.

Yanukovych went to Moscow in December 2013 and without even telling his government, he sold Ukraine’s sovereignty out. Not only did that nearly trigger a civil war, it was the final nail in Azarov’s credibility and the ENTIRE Azarov government collapsed.

And then, while facting impeachment (which EVEN HIS OWN PARTY HAD VOTED FOR), Yanukovych enabled Russia’s invasion of Crimea, issued illegal orders to the Ukrainian military, trousered a few billion dollars in state funds, and fled to Moscow.

He then attempted to try and claim he was still a legitimate president while camping it out on Putin’s dime. (To argue he was still legit at this point is as retarded as arguing that Benedict Arnold should’ve still been in charge of American troops after defecting to the Brits.)

ONLY AFTER PUTIN HAD ORCHESTRATED ALL OF THAT did the State Department have any hand in things.

More Russian huffing and puffing. Britain maintains 160 thermonuclear warheads on its Vanguard nuke subs.

True.

But the Royal Navy is in a terrible shape today.

They'll be lucky to have one submarine available for patrol.
