The North Dakota Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously found the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors constitutional, upholding a lower court’s ruling from last year.
The 2023 law makes it a crime to prescribe puberty blockers and other treatments to adolescents.
The high court’s reasoning for its decision mirrored that of South Central Judicial District Judge Jackson Lofgren, who in October 2025 rejected North Dakota pediatric endocrinologist Luis Casas’s claims that the law forces him to withhold necessary medical care from his patients.

Very good news, but not surprising. It’s in North Dakota.
Calling the assault of Trans chemicals and surgeries on a young body “healthcare” is akin to calling the democRATs the party of compassion.

AKA sterilizing and mutilating children.
If such procedures were “necessary” and “lifesaving,” as they say, then unwilling parents would be put in the bullseye as “abusers” for not allowing it for their professing “transgender” children.
We should all see where this language is leading.
Genital mutilation and hormone injections are not health care in any stretch of the definition.
What’s surprising is that this decision was unanimous. I don’t believe you would have seen this 2 or 3 years ago, even in North Dakota. There would have been at least 1 or 2 justices dissenting.
The anti-trans madness trend is definitely gaining momentum.
Calling abortion healthcare is an abomination.

You would think any sane person would agree that adolescents are exploring their sexuality and identity and are too young to decide for a specific gender identity.
too bad ACLU won’t appeal as I would like to see this in all 50 states. but they know they would lose
“Transgender healthcare” means mutilation and drugging.
