Wanjun Xie, chairman of the China Democratic Party, has claimed in a post on X that Chinese president Xi Jinping fainted during the Brics summit hosted by New Delhi and was taken back to China on a special flight for medical treatment.
Xie claimed that after receiving emergency treatment from his accompanying medical team, Xi ended his visit to India early and returned to China on a special plane. According to the post, upon the plane's arrival at Beijing airport, authorities did not arrange for a large group of officials to greet Xi or organise a welcome ceremony. Instead, "a military helicopter was used to transport Xi Jinping directly to Beijing's 301 Hospital for emergency treatment."

Xie further claimed that an expert team at Beijing's 301 Hospital diagnosed Xi with "a severe ischemic stroke, that is, a transient cerebral infarction." The post also claimed that Xi "feared that the Indian side might obtain information about his health" and therefore "refused emergency treatment at an Indian hospital" before returning to Beijing for care.
According to Xie, "During the flight, as there were no conditions for surgery, the medical team could only administer conservative treatment to sustain Xi Jinping's life." He further claimed that Xi "missed the golden window for emergency care and surgery."
The post alleged that even if Xi undergoes surgery at Beijing's 301 Hospital, "there is a high likelihood of severe sequelae."
Xie also claimed that "the Beijing authorities are still unable to confirm whether Xi Jinping can recover his health before the visit to the United States", adding that authorities were waiting to determine whether it would be necessary to cancel Xi's planned late-September trip to the US.
The post on X also carried Community Notes. The claims about Xi's alleged medical condition, treatment and possible US trip cancellation were presented as claims and were not independently established in the post.
India hosted the Brics Summit on September 12-13, which was attended by leaders of the 11 member countries and 10 partner countries, along with representatives of international organisations. On the sidelines of the summit, Xi held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he presented Beijing’s proposals for greater cooperation among Global South countries.

Well, I don’t wish ill on anyone, but...
Did PM Carney rush to his side and give him mouth to mouth ?
If they don’t want people to make up wild internet stories and pass rumors to each other, then stop being lying, deceitful, secretive Commies.
One story is they couldn’t trust India to treat Xi so despite missing the “golden time” for treating an ischemic event they rushed him onto a plane to China. That sounds bad.
Supposedly he lost consciousness.
All stories now say “there has been no confirmation” “there has been no verification of this”.
Wishful thinking. Just sayin’.
China has a Joe Biden
Seriously, a good decision on China’s part. He is better off with whatever treatment he can get on the flight back than taking a chance in an Indian hospital. Besides the filth, just imagine the in-fighting between the Indians and arriving Chinese medical staffs if he had stayed in India.
BULL....He just wanted to avoid meeting with TRUMP at the G20!
Xi refused Indian medical care to keep his condition a secret? One of the dumbest things I’ve seen from a world leader. If treatment isn’t started in the 1st hour he missed his best chance to avoid permanent damage.
Could be a ploy to skip the meeting with Trump I suppose.
It's looking that way. Per reports, for his flight back he climbed the stairs to the plane on his own. Not something you expect from someone who just had an ischemic stroke.
or they used one of his doubles ,LOL
The article says the community notes says it hasn’t been independently established. So I don’t know if it’s true or not.
RE: Well, I don’t wish ill on anyone, but...
Many have died after being imprisoned in hard labor camps and others by shootings such as after the Tiananmen tank incident. He’s not in line to succeed Mr. Rogers.
But I wonder what the runnerup thugs are like. Ruthless, lying, deceitful, stealing technology from the West. Polluting the world at will without restraint. Sabotage and cyberattacks on the US on a daily basis. A goal of confiscating land from every country until China rules the world.
Secret insight: I hate them.
But the CCP’s streak of brutality and incompetence extends far beyond the Great Leap Forward—to the Cultural Revolution, a bloody massacre in 1989, unspeakably cruel and criminal acts against hundreds of millions of women in forced abortions for nearly 40 years, ruthless crackdowns on any political dissent, surveillance over the entire captive nation enabled by next-generation technologies, massive detentions, by the millions, of ethnic minority and political dissidents and genocide against the Uyghurs.

Good thing it didn’t happen in America. We would be hearing conspiracy theories about it for years
I don’t know how reliable the Party Chairman would be but even the Chinese would not let if float out there if it were false.
It sure is stupid to not get immediate care......unless it was really bad.
Then it’s too early to harvest organs...
Doesn’t want anyone to know what’s really wrong with him
His organs will be forfeit.
I’m reminded of the supposedly lip read conversation where Xi remarked to Putin that with transplants he coul leve another fifty years. Or, words to that effect.

Does sound fishy.
