Rerun of the “Unholiest Alliance” episode of Law and Order SVU was just on. The corrupt priest had those while being disciplined and whipped by his gay escort Lance. Another priest murdered someone to keep secrets safe.
Also aldermen, assemblyman, a judge and others were caught in an underage prostitution party raid and had to be let go as too influential to prosecute.
To toss a bone to the audience, the screenplay writer added Carisi sadly praying on his knees in a Catholic Church, holding out naive and childish hope that everyone around him wasn’t filthy, corrupt and beneath contempt. The End.
