A black Tufts professor Boston officials hired to study the city’s “contributions to slavery” is out the door after the school accused her of plagiarism.
Kerri Greenidge is blaming her ouster on Tufts officials who allegedly targeted her for being black.
Greenidge’s departure from the faculty comes after a book on the history of slavery she placed with a major publisher came under academic scrutiny.
The school is alleging the book, which W.W. Norton has now pulled from its website, contained several errors and lack of attribution.
Amid Tufts’ investigation of the book, the city of Boston paid Greenidge $250,000 to study the city’s “contributions to slavery.”
Boston City officials are defending the contract, saying they knew nothing about the controversy surrounding the book when they hired Greenidge.
Northeastern University, which had been awarded the other half of a $500,000 contract, delivered its research; however the report from Greenidge’s team at Tufts was never submitted.

Conclusion is that slavery is wrong. Now the professor can relax.
What’s to study? It happened. In every country so STFU!
I wonder how many slaves she could purchase with a quarter mil...
I wish more black and brown professors for whatever reasons call out left-wing overpaid college and university administrators and drive them from our temples of learning.
Sounds like the taxpayers got what they paid for - a study that concluded that the taxpayers themselves are tax slaves, forced to give up their labor at the direction of others, for nothing in return.
$250k to study Boston’s “contributions to slavery.”
I’m glad to hear that all the other Boston civic problems are fixed, there are no bums and vagrants, and crime is at zero.
I gave up at least a grand to the “Combat Zone” in Boston back in the 80’s.

Lordy, not a-n-o-t-her black woman academic fraud.
Non-story. It’s more Affirmative Action grift with a twist to make believe she’s earning something.
Tufts is a private university. They can be as stupid with money and who they hire as their governing boards allow them to be.
Didn’t Tufts officials target her for being black when they hired her?
